The Danger Shop was set up like a gym as usual, but this week there was a giant mechanical bull in the center of the room, surrounded by cushy mats. Riding on top of it with one hand on the saddle reigns was the instructor, hair happily silver bow-free and face grinning broadly. He dismounted the bull when it was time for the lecture to begin.

As some would say, Ronon was scary when he was in a good mood. "Okay guys, so I saw this in a movie once and I say it counts as part of your education into those things physical. So ride the bull. See how long you can hold on once it gets up to speed." He picked up a large cowboy hat. "One hand goes on the bull, the other holds this hat in the air for balance. Go ahead and place bets on who falls off quickest and let's see what you got!"

For Movie Appreciation, the Danger Shop was transformed into the usual auditorium with a strange new twist. There was a giant pool of icy water off to the side with floating slabs of driftwood strewn about.

Ronon sat on the edge of the stage, waiting for students to take their seats before introducing the day's movie. "I'm told for people from the right time, Titanic is a classic romance. I watched it, and I gotta tell you, if that's romance, Earth is screwed." For serious. "So this guy falls for some girl and shows her how to live or something. Then the boat they're on gets hit by a block of ice and sinks. Now, I know, spoilers or something are bad? Whatever, if I tell you everyone ends up in icy water like that," he pointed to the tank, "you tell me how many people live or die."

"Right, so let's suffer through Celine watch some parts of it and get a feel for this movie before you guys stick yourselves in the water and decide if the chick could've made some space for that guy on her plank. Still think it's true love and romance?" He flicked a switch on the remote and started up the clips.

"Good morning, students!" Minsc, who seemed a little extra fond of being able to rub his head without it being obstructed by silly hats today, greeted them all with the usual exhuberance as they came into the classroom. Everything was the same comfortable setting, only with a large TV sitting to the front of the room.

"Next week," he said, "we will be having a very special guest visiting to talk to you all about transformations, and then we'll be hitting up on the really heavy-duty, nitty-gritty work of it! So today will be easy. Relatively easy. Today we are watching a documentary,"--no, Minsc, it wasn't a documentary; no one tell him--"about a unicorn who suffers through many trials in her life, one of them including a very difficult and confusing transformation into human form! Pay attention! Next week, I would like you all to turn in two pages of written report...or," he nodded toward at least Blysse, "an oral presentation, discussing the both the pros and cons of the transformation she endured. Looking at both the positives and the negatives will help show why transforming is such a complex thing!"

"The Valentine's Dance is one week from today," Nathan said, after he helped himself to some of the sandwiches and chips he'd provided for the meeting. "You need to agree on a theme. Also Monday is when ticket sales start. If anybody needs to change their day now would be your chance. I'll pass around a copy of the sign up sheet in case you need a refresher.

"Let me know if you have any questions."

On the door to the science lab was a note directing people to meet in the Danger Room.

"So, uh," Sokka greeted people, once they had assembled, "this whole being-in-charge-of-a-club thing... means that I have to prepare things ahead of time. I'm not too good at that. Um. So, today, we're going to talk about collisions and friction." He passed around two handouts -- both of which had been printed out directly from Wikipedia -- and taped a copy of each to the wall.

"Good talk," he announced. "Okay, let's use 'em."

He hit a button and the room filled with air hockey and pool tables.
