"I'm sure you guys who come from the future have better ways of communicating, but we've got to pay homage to the original, the telephone," said Mike. He picked up a couple of paper cups strung together by a piece of piece of string. "Here we go. Check out the early prototype," he said, passing the "telephone" around.

"Now, tell me what you think could hypothetically be done to improve communication technologies in the future," Mike added, getting set to take notes.

Today, the students would come in to find themselves back in the classroom that had been set up in the danger shop at the beginning of the semester, with the exception of four darkened arch-way doors behind Minsc as he stood grinning proudly at his students.

"Good morning!" he greeted them in his usual brusque cheer. "Today we discuss something very important, as we have in every other class, so please to be paying good attention, or else I may assume you are not as attached to your arms and legs and delicate soft squishy bits inside as you might lead on to be!"

The Library; Monday [ 10/06 ]

Cal came in to open the library with a cup full of possibly more sugar than coffee, and settled in behind the desk for a day of alternating between reading a book on surfing, jotting down ideas for either a story or newspaper articles, and a fourth period geography quiz.

Oh. And maybe actually working a little bit here and there, too. Just enough to make him seem helpful.

She was quite pleased to see her class this morning, considering, and as they filed in, they might notice more lab equipment up on the tables, as well as a handout.

"Today, we will be working with Gold, the noblest element in alchemical study. No doubt, upon hearing the word 'alchemy', you thought of 'making gold', but as you will hopefully learn as the semester progresses, such a search is far more of a spiritual and mental concern for the modern alchemist than a physical one.
