When Sarah Kerrigan opened up study hall in the morning, she wasn't happy. Not only had she gotten stuck with doing this again, but her lesson plans -- well, lesson plans -- had fallen through and she still had no emergency plan to fall back on.

Hence, she had also not brought much in the way of pastries. There was, however, a lot of instant coffee. And a water cooker.

“Good morning. Well, I have good news and bad news. The good news is, I forgot to announce our test last week so, despite the fact that it is on the syllabus for today, we’ll be moving it to next week when the mun is not up to her ears in EOM. The bad news is, the material we go over today will be applicable to the test next week.”

Pushing himself away from the desk, Wilson grabbed an overhead film and headed for the projector.

Tactics 201, Thursday Period Two, 31/01

"Hey, kids."

Lieutenant Kerrigan was doing her utmost best not to run her hand repeatedly through her hair, standing in the middle of a simulated canyon in her Ghost outfit. "We were going to do a physical exercise today, but due to circumstances beyond my control, the planning has been altered slightly. We'll be running another simulated exercise today.

"Having dealt with defensive fortification last week, we'll be working on our offense this time. You're to team up in groups of two-- one of you will be driving a Vulture cycle, which aren't hard to master, but I'd advise anyone with motorbike experience to choose this option to make it easier on your classmates, while the other uses four NPC Marines around the canyon walls to try to take the Vulture out. Vulture drivers, your job's to get to the flashing signal at the end of the canyon."

When in doubt, go with class plans a colleague came up with. "Good hunting."

Fandom Invasions Class #4

When the class filed in, they found the Danger Shop set up to look like the grounds outside the school in winter with a large amount of snow on the ground and more falling.

"Good morning," John greeted them. "As you may have noticed last week, another thing that happens sometimes here is strange weather. Such as freak snowstorms. When that sort of thing happens, it's best to just take it in stride and go with it." He gestured around him. "So do whatever you would when faced with an unexpected snowfall." John smiled a little wolfishly at him. "Just remember to be ready for the unexpected."

Newspaper Staff Meeting, 4pm FHT, Journalism Room

As always, there were coffee and pastries in the journalism room Thursday afternoon after classes.

Slightly more atypical, there was a note on the board.

ETA: Further apologies for falling asleep before anyone managed to ping in. Apparently a 2.5 hour commute makes me sleepy. I'm good to SP until whoever wants me to give them an assignment has one all good to go.]
