Bridge is in a good mood as he opens the library this morning. Gee, wonder why that could be...?

When everyone entered the class they found Qui-Gon standing up at the front of the classroom and no Anakin in sight.

"Hello," Qui-Gon said when everyone had settled.

Master Anakin is... ah.... rather indisposed at the moment. )

Rose entered the class, smiling.

"Afternoon, class, I trust you've had an interesting week. Let's get started on the tests, shall we?" Rose took out a handful of papers and passed them around.

There were a series of questions written on the paper:

1) Do television programs provide us with honest depictions of culture?

2) Do television programs show positive portrayals of gender and/or race?

Rose tilted her head and waited for her class to finish. "All right, since you lot are done and the finals are just 'round the corner." Rose brought out digital video cameras and started handing them to each student. "I want you lot to make a documentary on any subject you think you can relate to class. I mean anything. Then on finals we'll view each footage and defend why you think your documentary relates to popular culture. It's that easy. So, better get started on the project, yeah?"

The Danger Shop was made to look up some of the rockier parts of the Preserve at night when the students came in.

"Good morning," John greeted them. "We've covered zombies already, today we're going to cover another type of walking dead. Mummies.

"There was a mummy problem here about a year and a half ago. It started with someone reading from the wrong book -- which is more common in causing bad things to happen than you might think. Basically, if a book looks creepy, especially if it's in a language unfamiliar to you, discretion may be the better part of valour." He smiled slightly. "There's a reason we limit access to the special collections in the library.

"Anyhow, while trying to avoid inadvertently summoning bad things by reading the wrong book is the lesson I want you to take from this class, we're going to focus on what you have to do when something is summoned." John grinned wolfishly. "Namely kick its butt. Have at it as you would."

Paper, pastries, coffee. It was like a machine, every week these things came together in a sort of organizational nirvana. Which has nothing to do with machines, so these metaphors are getting nicely mixed.

Anyway, Peter was at the front of the room, drawing a pony on the board.

Packs of playing cards were laid out around the classroom.

Mohinder looked up from shuffling a deck, laying it down in a spread on his desk.

"Good afternoon," Mohinder nodded at the class. "Today we'll be looking at two different aspects of unconscious communication."

...not communicating whist unconscious )

Awaiting OCD is up.
