Fraser's back at the site, looking bright eyed and chipper. Might be the weekend, might be that it's closer to another week. Who knows with him?

"Welcome back," he said, giving each of them a nod. "Please equip yourselves, be sure to drink plenty of water and take breaks should you need them."

Yes, it's time, once again, for another edition of morning announcements! Umbridge's voice is clearer today, happier and maybe a little smug.

"Good morning, dear students," she said, voice ringing almost shrill. "Those who I saw yesterday, I do hope you are enjoying your new living accommodations." And there's where the smugness increased. "This will be better for us all in the long run, trust me."

She paused to giggle.

"Now, then. Tomorrow, Dick Casablancas, Jim Halpert, Zack Addy, and Henry Jekyll have detention with Miss Ellicot Chat--something. Zuko is supposed to have detention as well but I think I'd like him in the first detention I run, if I could."

"And now, dear children, a new rule created for your safety and mine." She paused for dramatic anticipation. "Any student caught showing affection while in a public place will be punished as I see fit. An educational decree will be going up shortly. Please refrain from any public displays of affection from now on. Thank you."

[Feel free to react, of course!]

As the students arrived, they'd probably think the Danger Shop was extremely odd today. It still resembled a large classroom, but at the back was a glass-fronted observation room, and the side wall opened out into what looked strangely like a modified version of last week's maze, only far less complicated and with lots of places to hide and ambush.

Longest class EVER. )

[Plz to be waiting for the OCD Have at it!]

The Cat Formerly Known As Cheshire had finally caught up with Thursday. Not that she minded his company, but he was often the bearer of bad news. Thankfully, he came to tell her today that the Barry Plodder fiasco had died down a lot faster than anyone expected. The only problem now were death threats from some of the fan fiction Plodder characters to the author for the epilogue's content, and the fact that the epilogue had clearly found itself under attack from the romance genre. Unfortunately for the novel, it wasn't even the decent parts of the romance genre. The Cat assured Thursday that the former was being dealt with by putting Jurisfiction guards on Ms Rowling (not that she knew about it) and the latter was still being argued out by the Council of Genres and therefore wasn't their problem yet.

Thursday was quite happy to live with that for the time being. The Cat then told her that there was a stack of paperwork waiting for her when she had the time, and then conversationally tangled her to the point where she began to question whether her right foot really existed and, if it did, whether it liked blue socks or periwinkle.

With all that in mind, she opened the library.
