Construction [Friday]

Fraser's back at the site, looking bright eyed and chipper. Might be the weekend, might be that it's closer to another week. Who knows with him?

"Welcome back," he said, giving each of them a nod. "Please equip yourselves, be sure to drink plenty of water and take breaks should you need them."

Bel was well-equipped.

For the eating of the foods.

No, Bel wasn't waiting for anyone to have very public displays of lots of affection with, not at all.

No, Anders didn't have that in mind at all, either, when he came striding very purposefully up at lunchtime. "Hungry?" he asked, a smirk dancing about the corners of his mouth and his eyebrows raised meaningfully.

"Very," Bel growled. "Hear the announcement this morning?"

"Uh huh," Anders said, his smirk fading into a distinct scowl. "Give you one guess what I think about that."

Bel's smirk didn't fade. "I think we're of like minds in this," he said.

Anders perked back up at that, setting the lunch basket down on the table before straddling the bench beside Bel and sliding up close.

"I think I love the way you think."

"Why don't you show me how much?" Bel encouraged, sliding his arms around Anders.

"Funny, I was kind of planning on doing that anyway," Anders remarked, glancing up at the sky in one of those exaggerated expressions of innocence that no one ever buys.

Not that he was opposed in the least to encouragement, though, as he started nuzzling at Bel's neck.

Bel growled softly and tugged Anders closer. He kinda hoped there were security cameras catching this.

Who, Anders? Put on a show for theoretical security cameras? Would he ever do that?

. . . maybe. Of course, there was a good chance that he'd be snuggling up to Bel and doing that thing that he knew Bel liked done to his neck anyway. But still. Point to prove and everything. It sort of added a bit of spice to the usual PDA proceedings.

Bel captured Anders's face in his hands and held his head fast, bringing his lips down on Anders's mouth in a demanding kiss.

Anders barely had time to make a noise of pleased surprise before he got really into the kiss, one arm snaking around Bel's neck to pull him closer.

Bel let the kiss last for awhile, then drew back and pulled his t-shirt over his head. What, it was hot out!

Anders was not complaining at all. "Hi there," he drawled, trailing a finger down Bel's chest. "Have I told you today how hot you are?"

"You're looking pretty good yourself," Bel purred. "But I think that shirt of yours has got to go."

"Twist my arm, why don't you," laughed Anders, tugging his own shirt off. "Better, oh demanding boyfriend?"

"Much better," Bel said agreeably, pulling Anders back against him for more kissing.

And there was a lot more kissing. And maybe a good deal of demonstrative touching, too. All of it was perfectly safe for public consumption (unless you were a certain pink-wearing, simpering temporary principal), but it was definitely enthusiastic.
