Library [08/03]

The Cat Formerly Known As Cheshire had finally caught up with Thursday. Not that she minded his company, but he was often the bearer of bad news. Thankfully, he came to tell her today that the Barry Plodder fiasco had died down a lot faster than anyone expected. The only problem now were death threats from some of the fan fiction Plodder characters to the author for the epilogue's content, and the fact that the epilogue had clearly found itself under attack from the romance genre. Unfortunately for the novel, it wasn't even the decent parts of the romance genre. The Cat assured Thursday that the former was being dealt with by putting Jurisfiction guards on Ms Rowling (not that she knew about it) and the latter was still being argued out by the Council of Genres and therefore wasn't their problem yet.

Thursday was quite happy to live with that for the time being. The Cat then told her that there was a stack of paperwork waiting for her when she had the time, and then conversationally tangled her to the point where she began to question whether her right foot really existed and, if it did, whether it liked blue socks or periwinkle.

With all that in mind, she opened the library.
