How to Annoy Your Teachers (And Not Get Turned Into Animals) [Week 7, Period 2]

Class was held in the Danger Shop today after John sent out a handwavy email. As the students entered the Danger Shop, they'll notice a more subdued John this time around. Whether it's because his most awesome class is ending or other things is a mystery. If asked, he'd blame the first one.

"Hey guys," he said, smiling. "Last class. Thanks so much for making this class so much fun for me and so annoying for the other teachers. If you've even managed to make a teacher frown in annoyance than my job here is done."

He managed a small smile. "For the last class, I was going to have us all go lob bombs but someone," he said, looking at Sokka, "already did that. So, we're going to annoy someone special."

John grinned. "Hope you guys have had fun. I know I have."

Interdisciplinary Studies, Class 7, Wednesday, Period 5

Today's class met at the main campfire which, despite the harsh heat, was piled full of large logs and ready for a bonfire. Nearby was what looked at first glance to be some sort of salad bar, and a large freezer.

Construction Site [Wednesday]

It's already hot by the time the workers approach the construction site. Along with the required tool belts, goggles and hard hats, there's also bottles of water in a cooler.

"Good morning," Fraser said, nodding. "It's going to hot and humid so please drink a lot of water and take breaks should you need to. Safety first, of course."

He smiled and then walked off to talk to one of the bulldozer operators.

Ninja-ing - Wednesday 1st period - Week 7

Class was Handwavey in the Danger Room, with Yondaime waiting for them in a large, dense and dangerous looking forest.

“Good Morning all! It saddens me to say that this is going to be our last class all together. You all have been spectacular and learned more in this short time than academy students back home learn in years! I’ve really enjoyed our time together and I think this is the best class that I’ve gotten to teach so far in my time here,” Yondaime grinned.

“So today, I’m putting your skills to the test with a game,” he explained pulling out a few bells from his pocket. “Your goal today is to catch me, and get these bells off of my belt.” He instructed tying them on there and then folding his hands up and performing Kage bunshin no jutsu and making a dozen clones appear around him, all with bells. “The trick is, only one of me is real. You can use whatever you wish to try and catch us, though we would prefer it if you tried things you learned in this class,” they all said with a grin before taking off. “Catch us if you can!”

Maddie was fanning herself and wiping at her eyes constantly as the class began, so Syvvie took point.

"Well. It looks like we've made it to our last class."

Maddie blew her nose.

"You guys have been great. Mad and I couldn't have asked for a better bunch of students. Thank you. But let's get on with it. Now, our culture is based very much on a patriarchican society. That means the men were in charge."

"For a loooong time,"

"That's right. And a lot of our society was shaped by this fact. But what if it had been the other way around? What if the women had been in charge from the start? How would it be different? Now, maybe some of you came from places where women got to be charge, then you get to help the rest of us out. What would society be like, as a whole, if Mad and I were in charge, say? Would there be less war? More? What would be considered the most important personality traits? Would we still have SUVs? Think about it, talk about it, do whatever you want,"

"As long as you're willing to get up and do it."

"That's right. Have fun, people!"
