Construction Site [Wednesday]

It's already hot by the time the workers approach the construction site. Along with the required tool belts, goggles and hard hats, there's also bottles of water in a cooler.

"Good morning," Fraser said, nodding. "It's going to hot and humid so please drink a lot of water and take breaks should you need to. Safety first, of course."

He smiled and then walked off to talk to one of the bulldozer operators.

As the sun rises, so does the temperature.

Yay heat! It didn't bother Bel at all.

Conner couldn't claim Underworld, but he liked to think "California boy" gave him a little bit of a "ha ha, I'm used to heat" edge. Let's be honest, he couldn't hold a candle (much less a fireball) to Bel in that department, but being a jock with an ego -- well. He tried anyway.

He was raiding that cooler pretty often, though. He'd always wanted to do the slow-motion water over the head glamour shot. What better time than now?

Open for workers and their visitors.

Bel glanced around for Phoebe- and Anders-shaped objects. He was rapidly going to lose the ability to feed himself at this rate.

If Anders ever realized he was endangering his boyfriend's ability to feed himself, he might consider calling a halt to these daily feeding missions.

But he hadn't. So he was here, with lunch that he'd picked up from the Arms (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/1816011.html?thread=83073227#t83073227) and the requisite Gatorade.

For which Bel was very grateful. He was definitely getting spoiled by this kind of service.

Conner had his sandwich and apple, and tapioca pudding again.

For eating. Not for throwing.

Yet.

And now it's hot.

The heat still wasn't bothering Bel (hello, Underworld, hellflame and all that), but that didn't stop him from going shirtless anyway as he worked.

Yeah, well, the heat was starting to get to Conner, not that he was about to let on. So off came the shirt, huzzah, and back to the grind. He might've been humming some of the songs Xander had introduced them to yesterday.

For all those construction worker watching needs.

He's here, should anyone need him.
