[Media Studies & Communication: Week 13, 5th Period]

There were handouts for everyone to pick up as they filed in today, the screen tuned to CNN for the current political news but muted.

"Hi girls," Logan greeted, smiling. "We're touching on politics today. I know you're not all from the US, or even the current timeline, but it's still important to be aware, at least, that politicians wherever you're from will probably screw you over," he said ruefully.

"Maybe that's a bit pessimistic, you say?" Logan spread his hands, shrugging. "In my experience, it's become the job of the people to hold the government responsible for things they've done that have been reprehensible, sometimes only just irresponsible to the public they claim to work for. There are some individuals who are all they claim to be, working for the good of the people, but not nearly as many as anyone would like.

"As a part of the public - voting or non-voting - sometimes all you can do is raise awareness, make known what's going on so that people will be informed. Your assignment today is to come up with a way you could do that, either personally or something more general. Big or small."

Ethics [Monday, April 2, 5th period]

"Today we talk about the ethics we encounter in relationships," Anakin began quietly. "Not just the easy questions like 'is it cheating if one of us is possessed?' but the ones that effect everyone--how much of the truth do you tell the person? What happens when one of you stops loving the other one? What happens when you reach an impasse on differences in religion or life goals? What do you do when circumstances beyond your control threaten to split you apart? What if there's too much old baggage to try again?"

He ran a hand through his hair, not looking at John or Molly assuming they're in class today. "Take it from me. Sometimes love isn't enough to make it work." He looked around the classroom. "Today we talk about the messy parts of love. Pick one of my questions and answer it the best way you can."

He leaned against his desk. "I'll be over here brooding listening to the discussion."

Fitness - Monday April 2nd - 3rd period

“Today we’re stating on Savate, which is a French style of street fighting suggested by Pip.” Yondaime explained as he sat at the head of the class surrounded by helmets and padded armor. “It a lot rougher than anything else we’ve done so far so I’m brought in protection for everyone to use.” Yes, that could and probably would be taken the wrong way, but obviously the blond didn’t notice.

“As I said before this is a style of street fighting, so anything goes as far as kicks and punches. In researching the style there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of throwing… or defending for that matter, so while it does seem rather brutal, when I break you all up into pairs please try to keep the bloodshed to a minimum. Kabuto would be the one to patch you up if you do get hurt, and you don’t want that.”

Conflict Management and Resolution: Mon Period 4 - Class # 12 - Apr 2 - Danger Room

As the students entered the Danger Room they would find it set up in much the same way as it had been for their midterm, with individual rooms for each student to go in and participate in their test.

“Good morning folks. You have the whole period to work on your practical test and…that’s pretty much the long and the short of it. Good luck to all of you.”

Stepping back he waved the students towards their individually labeled rooms.

Once in the room, students would be confronted with two tulips, individually potted in small pots. One tulip is red and the other is white. In the center of a table is a much larger pot filled with rich looking soil. It is obvious that the two tulips are in heated discussions about who has the right to the abandoned pot and they are threatening to throw small clumps of fertilizer at each other.

As explained last week, it’s up to the students to negotiate with each side, determine who genuinely has the right to the beautiful new pot and how to make certain both sides come to a non-violent resolution of their conflict.

[ooc: Yeah…so, I loose at RL timing. It’s month end and quarter end today and I spent my weekend getting my condo listed for sale and then cleaning it up one side and down the other –still have one room to finish up- so RL totally pwned RP intentions this weekend. Thus, feel free to handwavey your test or if you want to have some fun with the tulips write me little drabbles and I will love you for it. Sorry guys and OCDs are coming up. Have at!]

Rose grinned, "So, where any of victims of practical jokes yesterday? If any of you were wondering the reason for this because yesterday was April Fool's Day. I'm not going to go on about the history of April Fool's (since the origins itself is on dispute) but one thing you lot should be aware off is that April Fool's happens only once a year on April 1. If any of you were caught in a joke yesterday don't get mad, get even."

"Here's what I'm going to do, I'm going to let you lot run around and go wild but I want you to play a practical joke on each other. For your assignment? Pull an April Fool's joke on your pals but remember nothing nasty just something fun."

Rose clapped her hands alright kids, "Go!"
