School Assembly, Friday afternoon, The Auditorium

For today's assembly, there were eleven chairs set up on one half of the stage, a microphone at center stage and a table with several books piled on it one the other half of the stage. When everyone in the audience was seated, a small, blue figure strode onto the stage. "Hello der," it said. "Me Cookie Monster. De following people please to come up on stage and be in spelling bee. Is impromptu."

He cleared his throat and pronounced the names carefully. "JC Broots, Dick Casablancas, Demyx, Zero Hopeless-Savage, Pippi Longstocking, Ami Mizuno, Stealtrike, Tannim, Valentine, Naomi Wildman, and Matilda Wormwood."

Once they were all up on stage, he went to sit behind the table and gave them their instructions. "Me say word, you say word, you spell word, you say word again. If you right, you get cookie and go to next round."

Announcements, Late Friday Morning

It's possible that Zoe sounded more than a little triumphant when the PA system crackled to life in the late morning.

"Attention all students and teachers, this is Principal Washburn. I'm afraid that Principal Madrox has become...temporarily indisposed, and has had to step down from his position. Because of this, there are a few new announcements that need to be made:

1) No more pies shall be delivered to the principal's office. If you must arrive with baked goods, chocolate chip cookies are preferred.

2) All homework is hereby reinforced. If you have homework that was not completed under Principal Madrox's reign, I suggest you finish it before you end up in detention.

3) Anyone caught singing the theme from "Sanford and Son" will be given detention. Anyone caught singing the theme from "Charles in Charge" will be given two weeks of detention.

4) The toilets are still complaining, so be careful. Those of you who use the men's bathroom might want to temporarily invest in air fresheners.

5) I have been informed by reliable sources that despite claims to the contrary, Meerkats are in fact superior to Stickbugs. With this information, I am considering the investigation officially closed.

6) The following students must report for detention tomorrow morning with The Tick:

8) Finally, Jamie Madrox is hereby permanently banned from being within 25 feet of the PA system. Future generations of Madroxes are also banned until further notice.

Since the Doctor had beanbags out Rose left it as is, if it worked for the Doctor who was she to change things?

Rose smiled at the class, gesturing for them to sit. "Hullo, before you all go scattering to the four winds thinkin' you've stepped into the wrong class let me assure you that you are in the right class. The Doctor asked me to speak to you lot and before anyone asks for qualifications my short version would be because once, long ago, I used to travel with him."
