The screen was off as everyone came in, a table with all of the handouts so far, as well as a few new ones, in nice neat stacks was at the sidewall.

When everyone had seated themselves, Logan stood up, smiling at the class. "Good morning, everyone. Today we're going to start our midterm projects.

"So far, we've been covering media and how it conveys information - now I'll be asking you to put some of that knowledge to work. Your project will be to construct a mini marketing campaign around a product, either real or imagined, and come up with two examples of advertisement that you think would adequately market it. It could be as a print advertisement or a commercial or something of your own devising."

Logan gestured to the side-table with the handouts. "Feel free to reacquaint yourself with what we've covered so far as you guys get with your partners. Pam, you're with Zero. Buffy, Haruhi and Ron are in the second group.

"I'll be asking for a short proposal to be submitted by next week, as well as any requests for materials you might need - video cameras or art supplies, that kind of thing.

"The midterm projects will be due by February 19th, three weeks from now. We'll have at least one class between then and now where you can work on it here and ask me any questions that come up. Today you can just focus on getting with your partner and brainstorm campaign ideas. Go ahead and have fun with it, be silly or serious. Bonus points for creativity."

In the class today, there were large cushioned pads on the floor enough for at least a few people to work in pairs and there was Yondaime, another year older, but no worse for wear. He smiled at everyone pleasantly as he stood at the front of the class. "I hope you all had a good week and weekend; I know mine was interesting." He shifted and crossed his arms, still trying to banish the nightmares Jiraiya’s latest book gave him.

Cut for the sake of my poor dying work computer, that the bastards down in Tech Support REALLY need to freaking replace! )

This morning marked the return of the hot cocoa, tea and coffee, along with some cheese and crackers or cookies for the students to nibble on to abate their hunger before lunch.

Wilson was perhaps moving a little more stiffly than usual for him but he looked over all pleased, with a hint of snow burn on his face. Someone had spent waaaaayyy to many hours on the slopes yesterday. Leaning back against the desk, he smiled as the students came in and got settled.

“Good morning. Well, I have good news and bad news. The good news is, I forgot to announce our test last week so, despite the fact that it is on the syllabus for today, we’ll be moving it to next week when the mun is not up to her ears in EOM. The bad news is, the material we go over today will be applicable to the test next week.”

Pushing himself away from the desk, Wilson grabbed an overhead film and headed for the projector.

There was a pile of clothes in a box at the center of the classroom, the teacher's table was moved to the side to give room to the box of clothing.

"Good afternoon, you lot." Rose greeted once the students settled down. "So, we got through language, Earth tech and now we go to one of my favorite topics -- clothes.  Suppose you've all heard the expression 'Clothes Make the Man.' out of everything we're going to discuss, clothes is probably the most obvious. You see them everywhere you go in this time period and both men and women wear denim trousers, jackets, jumpers, t-shirts and  trainers."

"Trousers or pants to Americans, were around since the 16th century but it isn't until the 20th century did it become acceptable for women to wear trousers as well. Women wearing trousers caused quite a scandal - - women didn't wear anything but dresses and gowns and while lovely it could get a bit boring and not to mention restraining.  Most popular trousers used by both men and women are jeans." Rose took out a t-shirt and brought it up to show around the class. "This is a T-shirt, you've seen them around, even worn them. They're buttonless, collarless and short sleeved, apparently the US Army's the one to be credited for inventing this handy piece of clothing, started out as a white cotton shirt now it's branched out to every form of design and color."

Rose brought out a pair of converse trainers. "These trainers or atlethic shoes, or most commonly by Americans, sneakers were first invented around 1893, now we don't only wear trainers for exercising, it's popular footwear for teenagers because its comfortable and could practically be worn anywhere. Good shoes for running for your life too."

Rose gestured to the pile of clothes, "What I want you to do is to pair-up, if everyone would be attending today you'd all have partners. The person left without can pair-up with me. Task is simple, I want you to dress your partners in the latest fashion of this century. Then right after, we'd have ourselves a bit of a fashion show."

Upon entering the Dangerroomshop, the students would notice that it looked as though they stepped out into the parking lot. In the middle of the empty lot was a red VW Beetle and Deadpool leaning against it, grinning like a maniac. So, essentially he was smiling normally.

"Good morning little monsters who I'm constantly tempted to kill, but am restrained from doing so by the fact that I won't get paid if I do." Another happy grin, completely with a little head tilt. "We're driving for real today on a specially designed obstacle course, The Suburban Neighborhood. Stop signs, yield signs and children crossing signs galore!"

He held up a set of keys, jingling it like one would to amuse a baby. "I'll only be able to take you out one group at a time, and only one person from each group gets to drive sadly, but the other two can sit in the backseat and pray that we don't fly off a cliff and crash in a ball of fiery fiery death," Wade said in an attempt to cheer them all up. "The rest of you will wait here until it's your car's turn to go, please no alcohol, fighting, boykissy or flash photography while I'm gone."
