The Doctor smiled and waved at everyone who came in to class today.

He passed out a written exam that seemed dreadfully dull, long, and boring.

After a few minutes, noticing the distress on Jack Harkness' face, he called him up to his desk, and sent him off to pick some things up at J,GoB.

All seemed like the final would be a boring smelly old test... surely he had something up his sleeve?

There are cookies, punch, and foil-wrapped Santas on a table in the front of the room, and Elliot gestures for students to take some as they file in.

"Hey, happy holidays, you guys have your final presentations today. It was a group assignment, but if you couldn't find your partner, I'm sure you'll be able to go on your own.

"I enjoyed teaching this class; hope you guys had fun with it too. Your grades will be posted by Monday."

As always, students have their pick of a nice arrangement of breakfast treats and beverages. The seating has been arranged into more of a circle than the usual pairs, and in one of the chairs is seated a blond boy in his mid-teens.

The gym was set up a little differently than usual when the students walked in. The most different thing was probably the large, blue man with a clipboard and a whistle.

"Hello, students of both energy and fitness! I am The Tick, your Dean and substitute teacher for this, your final class of the semester! I will be conducting your final exam, and your final will be in three parts! but if you've worked hard and studied up until now, you should do just fine!"
