Yes, the announcements are early this morning. Yes, they come half an hour before first period. No, Zordon does not sound smugly delighted at all.

"Good morning. The following teenagers with attitude will all report to the Danger Shop tomorrow morning for detention:

Callisto, Martin Blank, Nadia Santos, Belthazor, Isabel Evans, Janet Fraiser, Zero Hopeless-Savage, Blair Sandburg, Miss Parker, Elizabeth Weir, Samantha Carter, Anakin Skywalker, Alanna Trebond, Piper Halliwell, Cameron Mitchell, D'Anna Biers, Walter Dornez, Bridge Carson, and Veronica Mars."

No no no, that wasn't a tiny, subtle chuckle. The PA system's just being weird and glitchy.

"In other news, several pirats are attempting to recreate the recreation of the voyage of the Kon-Tiki in the basement pool. In the name of pirat-ical research, we ask that if you use the pool today, to please have courtesy and not disrupt their trip. That will be all. Thank you, and a moment of silence for A Chorus Line, which closed sixteen years ago today on Broadway after 6, 137 performances."

That sound, just before the PA shuts off? The one that sounds like the fadeout from the end of "Thriller?" It is the fadeout from the end of "Thriller." Really. Zordon can't really laugh like that. Honest.

Broots was sitting behind the desk in front of the class. Two notices were printed on the board in rather shaky handwriting.

Beginners: Sit down and work quietly on your exam. You'll recieve your grades next Wednesday. Please come to class Friday.
Intermediate: If you showed up today, you're final project grade just went down.

Once everyone was sitting, he handed out the test.

1. Question one
2. Define if and only if
3. Please write out the times table for seven on the range one through ten.
4. Write a problem (and solve it) that shows a real world application of math.
5. A solution to the All King's Digits problem. (Use all ten digits to get 100)
6. What is the probability that a randomly drawn positive factor of 80 is less than 7?

Extra credit: Problem )

[ooc: If you have the time, actually take the test as your character would. If not, jot down how well they did either on each individual question or over all. Test is open until next Wednesday.]

As the FH faculty members step into the Danger Shop, they'll find that the shop appears to be a cruise ship with all of the amenities you might expect. A snazzy buffet, shuffleboard, deck chairs, entertainment, and more. Oh, and an open bar. Of course. All while a large banner proclaims, "THANK YOU FANDOM HIGH FACULTY."

It was time to celebrate the end of the year.

[OOC: I'll be afk for a few hours. I'll be setting up I've set up some OCD threads, but feel free to add some more while I'm gone. Slowplay is a must, obviously. Have fun!]

The Danger Shop once again resembles a moderately busy city street. There are no robotic animals in sight.

"Your final exam is next Friday morning, guys. Take this class to do some practice runs and review what you've learned this semester. Be sure to study your driver's manuals between now and next week!"
[identity profile] professor-lyman.livejournal.com
Josh smiled as the class walked into the room for the last time. "You guys have been a lot of fun to teach this semester," he said, looking at all of them. "Hope you learned a little bit of how the American system of government works, but if you didn't, don't tell me, okay? I'd like to think I taught you something. Anyway, have a good summer, and I'll see you back here in the Fall. Except for the seniors, of course--good luck with whatever you end up doing away from Fandom." He smiled. "Just as a warning, I wouldn't mention weetiny bunnies to anyone who hasn't, you know, been here. They might think you're insane."

He passed out the final exam, then sat down at his desk.

Final exam, oh noes! )

The Library

Janet came running in from the park, just barely in time to get the library open.

She stuck the usual end-of-semester sign on the door:
ALL BOOKS DUE BACK BY MAY 5TH. NO EXCEPTIONS.

She did not write "THIS MEANS YOU, BELTHAZOR" on it. But she wanted to.

"Welcome to the final meeting of the Student Council that I'll be running," Josh said with a grin. "At least for this school year. I have to head to exotic Detroit on Monday. I know you're all jealous."

He waved at the pizza, baked goods, and sodas stacked up on a nearby table. "But you have done great work, so I reward you with pizza. And the finest muffins and bagels in all the land--courtesy of J,GoB, of course."

"Today, work on final details for coffee stuff, trivia night, whatever." He gave an impish smile. "And Vice Principal Pierce might be getting in touch for graduation plans soon. Check your voicemail."

Rita was looking annoyed at the front of the class.

"I hope you all had a pleasant time on Wednesday," she said, wondering what exactly had been taught. "Today's a review while you work on your projects. Ask me anything, and use your time to study."

[I'm still a bit wiped from travel and so on omg, so only one post and if I drop off suddenly, it's safe to assume that I'm sleepinating.]

Today, Zhaan was in business attire (again), although the bunny slippers are still prominent. She smiled at the class as they filed in. "I hope you've had an enjoyable week."

She picked up the small potted plant sitting next to her hand and turned it, "Many people believe plants to be faceless, unimportant things. Plants have no feelings, plants don't hurt, plants don't think." Setting it down with a click, she continued, "Many people would be right about many plants. But not all.

There is a sign on the Art Classroom door.

Report to the Danger Shop for your finals.

Speech GRADES

At some point really late, CJ staggers from the Lido deck in the Danger Shop to her office door and tapes up a list at a haphazard angle. Then she heads back to her room to drunk dial Gil and tell him exactly why Grasshoppers are evil, but would have made for a way cooler plague in Egypt instead of locusts.

201--Speech )
301--Interpersonal Communication )
401--Advanced Communication )

Anyone on the rosters not on list receives an F for excessive absences (unless it is my own error).

[[ooc: so many people dropped over the term, I'm utterly lost. These are the ones who played to the end. If there's an error, let me know!]]
