The class was meeting on the causeway today.

"Apparently some people find going shopping relaxing." Cara was not one of them.

Jane gave her a little pat on the arm. "We can get Cinnabon," she promised. "Because we'll be heading to the mall. Where you can shop or just window-shop to your heart's content. To relax!"

"If you can." Most people who were not Cara probably would.

"Enjoy," Jane said, trying to make up for Vara's lack of enthusiasm. Was she successful? Ehh.

Health Education, Thursday, Period 3

"A surprisingly important component of our health is our social health, our relationships with others," Don told his students this week. "Humans are social animals. It's important to get out and make friends and form connections. Lonely people have worse long-term health outcomes; there are all sorts of studies on it. So you could join a club, or go to a bar--although remember what I've said about alcohol overconsumption--or...what? Let's brainstorm today about ways to make friends and form connections with our community."

The gremlins were loud again today in the library. Nothing unusual about that.

One appeared to be trying to go unnoticed but his attempts only made him stand out more.

Belle just sighed at them and started arranging a display of books with SILENCE or QUIET in the titles.
