Due to various circumstances, Gladio was a bit late in getting Ignis one of his birthday presents, and he figured it was something he could tie easily into his class, too. In case anyone was wondering why there were two more extra chocobros with him when the class was meeting at the portalocity office for class that morning.

"Today," he informed them, "we're kind of going against the whole Let's Play Some Sports of the class title, and we're just going to go watch some sports. Specifically, we're going to head to a basketball game. Which we'll try ourselves next week, so if you're familiar with basketball already, great. Sit back and enjoy the game. And if you're not, well, try and pay attention and see if you can figure out some of the rules or if there's anything you can't figure out to ask about and hopefully have answered next week. But for now, let's head on out and get to see that game!"

And if anyone was wondering why Gladio thought going to watch a basketball game would be any sort of interest to Ignis, well....that had an awful lot to do with who was playing and where and the great accessibility technology they had embraced for their audience.

"Today we're going to talk about stress," Don told the class as he passed out handouts on the topic. "Now, stress is a normal part of life, caused by changes or challenges we experience, but sometimes you can experience too much of it, and your body can't handle that very well. It's bad for it. Especially when it's over a long period of time. There are physical symptoms of stress, such as high blood pressure, chest pains, headaches, digestive issues, and mental symptoms, such as anxiety or depression. Over the long term, stress can damage your body and your mind, and it can lead to unhealthy coping mechanisms such as drinking too much, so it's important to manage stress in a healthy way."

Retreating into the void sort of counted as meditation, right? Don wasn't being a hypocrite here? That was what he was telling himself, though.

"Now, what can we do to manage stress? First, while it's impossible to avoid stress completely, it's important to be able to recognize when it is avoidable. Don't invite unnecessary trouble, right? Learning when you need to say 'no' is an important step. Then, if you take care of your body and make sure to make time for things you enjoy and staying connected with others, that can help. And it's always important to know when to reach out and ask for help, whether that's from a friend or a medical professional. Humans are like anything else: if you stress them enough, they snap.

"And on that cheerful note, I'm at the end of our lecture for the day, so does anyone have any questions, or want to talk about any stresses in their lives?"

The classroom was split up onto two... mostly pretty similar sections with a lot of pillows at the ready.

"So, we're back from vacation. Unfortunately," Jane said with a sigh. "So we'll make this an easy one as we get back into things."

"Sometimes you need help from other people to really relax," Cara explained. "For example if you tend to put your body under a lot of stress, merely resting is not nearly as effective as getting someone who really knows what they're doing to put their hands on you."

"Massages. She's talking about massages," Jane added quickly.

"Of course I'm talking about massages," Cara said, only smirking a little. "What else would I be talking about?"

Jane just shot her A Look. "We also have a little nap area set up as well. In case that's more your style."

"The people we have in from the spa get paid either way," Cara told them.

"I thought you were meant to be nocturnal," Belle told the bats that were swooping around the library.

The bats didn't care. And honestly, Belle, you'd think after all these years at this school you'd be used to wildlife behaving oddly. One of them sparkled! Flying around a library during the day was hardly even worth commenting on.

The gremlins wrestling in a corner were also nothing unusual. Nor was the yelling. Or the mysterious wet spot on the ceiling.

It was just a rather typical day in the library and Belle was tired.
