"Sorry about last week," Prompto said with a grin that tried to be apologetic, but, if he was perfectly honest, he was a bit too nervous about today's lesson to really get there. He shook his head, waved a dismissive hand. "Fandom stuff," he said. "I know you all mostly know how that is. But, anyway, today, we're going to be squeezing in a few different types of animals, and then, I'm going to talk about these," his hand fell on a small stack of photo albums, "which are for you to take today and fill up with all your best pet pics of the session and next week, we'll be going through them, talking abou them, and just adding to them with more shots! So...okay, maybe not a whole lot to talk about there." He chuckled faintly. "So let's focus instead on these guys."

Which meant that now, Prompto was going to feature some of the animals he'd brought into the staging area today, which included a brief overview on tips and advice for shooting fish, frogs, turtles, reptiles in general, and, much to his clear discomfort despite his efforts to keep it in check, snakes specifically.

Look, if he told himself that he was at least bigger than these snakes, it made it a little bit better? But you know, some experiences were just a lot harder to shake off than others! But pet snakes deserved love, too, even if most snake-like creatures Prompto had encountered in his life either tried to eat him....or adopt him.

Don't ask.

Just take pictures! Hooray!

"Since we find ourselves on a beach...again, but different, I thought we could go over some water safety information today.

Talk about drowning under here. )

It was just Tony this week and he was a little distracted by what was happening, it seemed.

"Hey. Hi. Steve's out of town, so I'll be a little less competition today."

Just what everyone wanted, right?

"And were learning that maybe roadside attractions as the obstacle course was a bad idea." But it's what they had! "So, be safe with it, won't you?"

If anyone got crushed by a ball of twine, he'd be so upset.

Today class met in the Danger Shop, which looked like a really large parking lot. Jon had tried to make it nicer, but that mostly just meant there were occasional trees and flower beds sticking up in places.

"Today, we're discussing modern transportation," Jon announced. "There are all sorts." He waved at various things as he mentioned them. "For more pedestrian options, there are roller skates - four wheels or inline, skateboards, and scooters, which can be entirely push-powered or have motors to help them along. Going up from there, there are bicycles - those are powered by you pedaling them - and motorcycles, which as the name suggests have motors. They can range from slightly larger than bicycles to utterly ridiculous.

"Then there are automobiles, which are fairly ubiquitous off the island. There are all sorts; here I've replicated something like the one the island gave me a few years ago, which is fairly normal and low-end, and one of the others you'll see in the lot at the end of the causeway, which is ridiculously luxurious." He made a moue of distaste at the Bentley.

"Past that, there are larger vehicles like busses," and yes it was a proper London bus; he'd barely seen any US types, "and lorries and things that are mostly for cargo hauling. Then there are trains, though not as many of those in our current country as there should be. In some cities, you'll see underground ones - the London Tube is down those stairs if you'd like to take a look, though I haven't had this thing build any other stations. For larger distances, there are aeroplanes, but I thought we'd stick with ground transportation for now."

He eyed the students and sighed. "I'll show you the basics of the individual transports, and you can try them out. Or you can ride on the mass transport options. At least nobody can get hurt in here."
