Oh, hey, look, someone other than Summer was deciding to use the class room sim in the danger shop that day! Because, you know what? Rosa might not like the woman even a little bit, but she had to admit, it was pretty funny.

"So," she said, putting a hand on a small stack of board game boxes, "you know that movie we watched a few weeks back? Well, that movie was based on a board game, actually, and so today, we're going to see if detective board games are anything remotely close to actual detective work. So grab a partner or a few people or just all of you decide on the same game, and get to playing and seeing if you can solve the mystery of if any of these are worth your time."

There was no mystery here, however, that clearly Rosa didn't want to bother putting effort into a class today.

“Welcome back once more, students!” Sam boomed out. “I hope you are all prepared to learn more important and useful information today!”

Sam, they had yet to learn a single important and/or useful thing from you.

“Today,” Sam continued, oblivious to the narrative as he was to most criticism, “we shall be discussing the importance of spring cleaning!”

Beaker…Beaker was not prepared to clean. Beaker was prepared to sing! He had a white cozy sweater and green tam and everything! Yes, he was two days early for St. Patrick's Day but on the bright side, he wasn't attempting a thematically appropriate assassination?

(The odds of everyone getting doused in Caeser dressing were still higher than normal.)

“Beaker! We are not singing today!” Nor were they celebrating stabbing Caesar though an argument could be made that that had been spring cleaning of a sort.

"Meep meep meep mee--" Beaker began, warbling his way through Danny Boy (the music was being piped--heh--in somehow) and ignoring Sam completely.

Sam was just going to bluster even louder then! So there, Beaker! “Cleanliness is of course always important but the changing of the seasons is an excellent time for a deep clean.”

Oh no, how sad, the music was completely drowning out the eagle.

His phone, which had not been in his wing until just now, rang. Sam answered with ”greetings!” and a very loud and gruff voice on the other end said, “Hey it's the pipes. Pipe down!”

Which was, of course, when a pipe that had definitely not existed until just now spewed green foam all over Sam.

Just in time for the high note! Because of course it was in time for the high note. Aren't you all learning so much, class?

The tavern wasn't on fire this time around! Which was nice, right? It was nice to not have real fake danger in class.

"Sometimes fighting isn't the best option, Jane informed the class. "Sometimes you want to try talking. Like normal people."

Wrong game, Dr. Foster.

"Sometimes if you're skilled enough at talking people won't try to fight you anymore." That was remarkably diplomatic of you, Cara. "Because they'll be too scared to."

Ah.

"And there's also lying to them." Awww. Now she was thinking about Loki. Who may or may not be dead. Again.

"Basically, people are dumb and can be talked into pretty much anything." What a heartwarming take on human nature there.

Jane made a face, but didn't disagree with that. "So, let's try this out with some dice rolls."

Hope none of you picked charisma as your dump stat.
