With Prompto being a puppy at the moment, it made sense to Gladio that they just slap a sign on the door and get the moose to send out the necessary notifications of a canceled class, but of course, Ignis was insisting that it was a waste of time, if either of them were capable of covering for him. Gladio pointed out that they didn't even know anything about photography, and the only other person they really did know who did had not only a husband-turned-puppy on her hands right now, but also a newborn. Still, Ignis insisted that it seemed foolish to waste the students' time like that and Gladio had to remind himself that Ignis had never really been a normal teenager in high school and therefor didn't really grasp the whole concept of how welcome just a regular 'free period' would be for them.

So, long story short, that was how Gladio came to be in the front of the photography classroom, explaining to the students about the current state of their regular teacher, and so they dug up a documentary about an apparently famous Earth photography for them to watch, and, he didn't know, take some notes, and then tell Prompto all about what they learned next week, when he was hopefully back to feeling more like himself.

And you know what? Maybe Gladio didn't mind actually getting to learn something new that day, either, after all.

Dum-E wasn't here today, much to Dum-E's vocal unhappiness when Steve and Tony had left the apartment, but their corgi Patriot was running around the room, sniffing everything and stealing pieces of newspaper when he thought Steve wasn't watching.

"Today we're going to try papier-mâché ," Steve said, watching in bemusement as the dog raced past with a strip of paper almost entirely covering his eyes. How did he think he was being stealthy?

"It's a simple process of using paper and a form of glue to create a shell around d something, a balloon in this case, that you can decorate how you like once it's dried," Tony added, offering a sheet of instructions should anyone want it rather than to just give it the old college try.

"I'm going to make mine look like a corgi," Steve said helpfully.

"Maybe for the final class we'll turn it into a pinata for you all," Tony suggested as the dog made a flying leap onto a desk chair.

"That sounds fun," Steve said, nodding

"Right. Um. Hello." Jon's voice was mostly back to normal, but his hair was still noticeably singed. "I was going to go into other tea-related conflicts this week, but, um. Well, Issa was...a bit upset this weekend, and my notes are somewhat the worse for wear."

They were clawed up and covered in cat puke, okay?

"So instead I thought we could go into some of the tisanes available. A tisane is something that...well, it's not actually a tea, because it hasn't got tea leaves, but you'll often hear it called herbal tea. Mint is popular, and I've got some of that. Also hibiscus and citrus." He put that out next to the mint. "Sometimes there are purported benefits, like chamomile to help you sleep." He put out a chamomile tea. "And rooibos is another popular one. It's supposed to give you a boost without caffeine." He set that one out, too.

"So, let's make them and compare notes."
