The library was absolutely covered in flower petals today. And we weren’t talking about a few tracked in on the bottom of people’s shoes, or blown in the windows via a breeze, but absolutely covered . There were piles in the corners and up against the shelves, and all in all it looked as if there had been a very colorful snowstorm.

It was kind of nice, actually, so long as you didn’t have allergies. Or a sensitivity to scents, there was kind of a lot going on.
