The library was absolutely covered in flower petals today. And we weren’t talking about a few tracked in on the bottom of people’s shoes, or blown in the windows via a breeze, but absolutely covered . There were piles in the corners and up against the shelves, and all in all it looked as if there had been a very colorful snowstorm.

It was kind of nice, actually, so long as you didn’t have allergies. Or a sensitivity to scents, there was kind of a lot going on.

She’d tried sweeping up some of the petals, but as soon as she turned her back they’d been replaced by more, so she’s given up on trying to do anything about the current state of the library.
