The class was meeting in the danger shop again that week, although the set-up was pretty basic, almost boring, really, when they got started. Prompto, however, was clearly excited, with that particular eager energy that made it difficult for him to stand still as he waited for everyone to get there. It didn't help that his brain was definitely on Party Prep Mode for Saturday, but today's class should be a good distraction.

"Hey, everyone! Guess what! It's the time you've all bee waiting for!"

Well, the time one person had been waiting for, he imagined, since she'd mentioned it at some point, but still!

"It's Selfie Day!"

Okay, two people, because Prompto had definitely been looking forward to this day, too.

"Now," he continued, "if you ask me, the selfie gets a bad rap. A lot of really great pictures can be selfies! Like, not a whole lot of other photography styles really can capture the essence and energy of a moment on a deeply personal level like a selfie can, right? And there's deifnitely an art to it, so today, we're going to go over some of the tips and tricks for the perfect selfie! And then, we'll get to practice and try putting these skills in effect. Sound good? Okay, so, let's get started with the first rule of Selfie Stardom, and that is tilt something..."

Prompto was going to have so many new selfies on his phone from just lecturing and demonstrating alone!

The Arena that day was set up with a multitude of various structures and obstacles of a boxy and moddable nature spread throughout, with several tall turrets along the edge, most noteably two at one end sporting large mounted guns on each of them.

"Today's event," Rosa explained, "is Assault, the game of Hit or Be Hit. On top of each of the turrets, you'll see a target. Your goal is to hit those targets; there are various moddable projectile weapons," things like crossbows, rocket launchers, hand grenades, a glitter stick that shot...glitter, just glitter...you get the idea, "scattered throughout the course for you to find, but while you're trying to get to them, two of your fellow gladiators--myself and the Spider over here for winning last week's event--will be shooting you with tennis balls. This was originally a one-on-one game, but that's not as much," chaos, "fun. So we're doing a free-for-all, which means you could very well experience a ground assault from your fellow players as well.

"As a matter of fact, if you don't experience a ground assault from your fellow players as well, I'll be very disappointed in you all.

"Whoever gets the most targets by the end of class wins. Simple, right? As soon as the Spider and I man our stations, we'll get started. Any questions first?"

There wasn't a pirate ship or a tavern this week. Hold your disappointment, because it was a normal classroom with a TV set up. Which was the classic sign of a movie day.

"Rey usually picks these," Jaskier grumbled as he tried to figure out the controls here.

"So long as it's not the movie with the hockey and the ducks and the team spirit," Cara said. She missed Magnus, maybe, but not his taste in fiction.

Well, what popped up on the screen was a TV show about that. Did it help?

No. No it did not.

"I didn't pick it!" Jaskier objected quickly.

Cara looked tired. Very, very tired. "Just watch the thing."

"This week, we're traveling to Iceland," Anakin said, pointing it out on the map. "It should hopefully be cooler than it is here."

Ben laughed. "For a guy who grew up in the desert, you really get whiny about the heat."

"I don't."

"You do."

"I don't."

Maybe just head through the portal, class.

Did Jessica completely forget about class today? Certainly not because there was a bottle of wine sitting on the bar when people came into Caritas and she was pouring everyone a glass.

"Tonight's selection is Night Train. It's a fruit wine that tastes..."

Hmm. Walked into that one. Jessica frowned and sipped at it.

"Like someone added corn syrup to Nyquil," she finished. "Please partake and decide for yourself."

"As for tonight's game we shall play two truths and a lie. You tell two truths about yourself and one lie. Those who choose the lie have to drink. Shall we?"

Class met on the lawn in front of the school today, and Bob was grinning. "Welcome back!" Was he suspiciously chipper today? Yes. Should you worry? Probably.

"Well, as this is supposed to be 'physical education', after all, why don't we get down to it? Today we're having a race!"

He gestured to the far side of the lawn, where flags were set up. "From here to there and back. Whoever makes it the most times, wins." Was that sadistic enough? No? "Oh, by the way, there are magical...spots...all around the place. You won't see them till you're just about on top of them. Nothing harmful, but they might slow you down. Or speed you up! Or turn you blue or green, or give you feathers, or...well, you get the idea. So - on your marks, get set, and go!"
