The Art of Ma; Thursday, Second Period [12/17].

Honestly, Shunsui almost wondered if sending out this message to his students was even necessary, considering everything still obnoxiously insisting on going on around the island this week, but, just to be on the safe side and he figured a little bit of effort on his part wouldn't hurt, his students would, indeed, be receiving a cancellation notice.

I'm sure this comes as no surprise to you, ducklings, but our final class for the Art of Ma will be canceled
due to this island's complete and utter lack of ability to appreciate negative space for itself
and cluttering itself with far too many annoying and dangerous holiday themes.
Please use this as an excellent example to reflect on the importance of this semester's topic in every day life.

And now that it appeared that just leaving seemed significantly more complicated now, Shunsui wondered if he'd just be better off slipping into jinzen until this all blew over, because if he was going to suffer an assault of verbal abuse regardless, he'd rather it be from his beautiful zanpakutō than from a plant...

Library - Thursday

Apparently the fear of Constantine's retribution was enough for Eleanor to brave the wild craziness of Fandom advent activities and show up for her shift at the library.

However her motivation to work ended there as she was now fast asleep, snoring and drooling on the front desk.

The library is open! The library minion? Pretty useless.

Functioning Governments, Thursday

This week--after taking one look outside--Steve and Tony had sent a Zoom link to their students. Hopefully they were technologically adept to figure it out?

Steve...was doing his best.

The class, if they managed to connect, would find their two teachers sitting on their sofa in their apartment. "Welcome, everyone!" Steve said, then frowned because the laptop was on mute. "JARVIS, a little help here?"

Tony, kindly fiddled with it for a moment to turn that off and maybe tweak some other settings. He was starting to think a program like this would be good to figure out for the company, you know? "There you go," he said, still frowning slightly as he worked. Oh, this was gonna be a thing.

"Welcome, everyone!" Steve said again. "If you've looked outside, you can probably guess why we're not meeting in person. It's pretty scary out there and a high school government test isn't worth getting hurt for."

In the background, a corgi was following a slithering string of lights before bravely attacking it. Because pets on Zoom calls were the only good part of them, right?

"Exactly," Tony said, ignorant of the battle of wills happening behind them. "So, how about we make the final exam easy on you."

Steve nodded. "Just tell us what you think the most important part of a functioning government is."

There was a noise behind them and then a crashing sound that had both teachers turning away from the computer. "Um," Tony ventured. "Maybe in email form?"

You all got treated to watching Steve dive over the sofa to save a dog before the feed cut out, at least?

Intro to PE, Thursday Period One

Magnus was there for class, but he was heavily armed and chipper as could be about it. "I dunno why anyone would show up with all this going on," he said, gesturing with an ax. "So, let's call this one a draw. And we'll do a dice roll for passing the class!"

There was a pause before he actually rolled a dice for it. Then nudged the dice once it was settled. And nudged it again.

"Aaaaand you rolled nat 20's! Congrats! Now let's go murder some candy canes and lights. Also those super creepy angel things."

Well, never let it be said that he wasn't an easy teacher.
