Weaponry in Film; Friday, First Period [07/10].

As someone who spent entire days in front of a blazing hot furnace and forge, Amaya wasn't bothered by the heat in the slightest; it was actually kind of nice! Kind of. Tolerable. But what did bother Amaya was the utter lack of clothing. She didn't have a whole lot of clothes to begin with, and now she was down to some shift she'd made from her own curtains, which was serviceable, but she was a blacksmith, not a seamstress, so...

There was a note on the door of the shop classroom, which just about felt like the inside of her forge right now, which matched the subsequent emails and texts she sent (technology!) to the students on her roster as well:

WEAPONRY IN FILM will be CANCELLED today!
Due to incliment weather, disappearing clothes,
and the fact that it would be difficult to watch the film portion of the class over the sound of the generator.
I'll be in the shop, though. If anyone's still jonesing for some weapons talk, just come on 'round.

Honestly, it just seemed like the better solution for everyone all around. Even if it did mean having to cut one of the weapons from the roster. Hmmm. Maybe the shoe?

Crafts & Arts, Friday

Steve and Tony had returned from their impromptu vacation to find the power out, all of their clothing gone, and the heat wave showing no signs of breaking. Time to make the best of it! So class was outside, but under some trees that were at least a break from the sun, if not the heat.

Steve, pretending that he wasn't wearing nothing but booty shorts and a taco cat Hawaiian shirt, tried to project an air of authority. "Welcome to Crafts and Art, a completely different class than the last workshop."

"Yeah," Tony said with a sigh, tugging at his crop top. Why did the island do this to him? Why? He hadn't worn one of these since the 90's, damn it. "So, it's going to be a very easy first class of the term with some slime. And then we can all go back to either the water or what air conditioning is still working here."

"I'm missing the water balloon attacks right now," Steve admitted. "But slime is easy and fun and soothing to play with when you're stressed."

"So, let's just get started," Tony said, trying for enthusiasm and failing a lot.

He paused. "With clothing shops."
