"Welcome to class," Duke told the llamas when he arrived today. "Don't suppose you're going to try any of our poses."

One of the llamas spat at him.

"Alright, let's get right to it," he told the students when they arrived. "We're going to try out some twists today, so I want you to really warm up those core muscles. And remember, we've got straps and bolsters for those who need them."

The llama spat again.

"Unfortunately we do not have handy-wipes. I'll try to remember some next week."

Today's class was going to be held in the Danger Shop, made up to look like the home ec classroom, and, if that should make any of you who'd had Summer's classes in this room before nervous, then....good. It should.

Although you were safe for today. Today, she was just sort of using it for dramatic effect, and there were two things written up on the board that suggested they were getting back to original form this week:

Have Dinner Ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal ready, on time for his return. This is a way of letting him know that you have been thinking about him and are concerned about his needs.

Most men are hungry when they come home and the prospect of a good meal (especially his favorite dish) is part of the warm welcome needed.

( And then Summer cleared her throat. )

With that, she looked eagerly to the students. "Any questions? If not, let's get to planning and plating, yeah?"

Storytelling and Song, Tuesday

"I hope you all enjoyed the movie last week as I, for one, have greatly enjoyed all these sorts of entertainment this place has produced." He'd probably even like watching the bad movies to see just how bad they could be.

"But today we'll be discussing how one might need to... be creative with the details of a story," he said. "Lie. I mean lie."

Obviously.

"Sometimes the truth is, shall we say, not what anyone wishes to hear. Therefore, we, as artists or storytellers, may tell a lie or two. Which is not to say that you cannot write or sing the truth! Of course you can! Though you may end up in a dungeon or without a head should you upset the wrong person."

It was an honest concern back where he was from, you know.

"So, let us be creative about a topic of your choice!"
