And there they were, hopefully the last Rosa would ever have to spend in this particular stupid classroom with this particular stupid projector (was she thinking of finally tossing it out the window at the end of class? She was definitely thinking of tossing it out the window at the end of class), and she sighed almost a little gratefully about that as she considered the students.

"Okay," she said, poising her fist on the ready to smack the projector to get it to work, "last one. Please, please let it just be a picture of a coffin..."

Sorry, Rosa. No such luck. She punched the projector, it whirred to life, and our dear old friend was clearly still alive and well:

"In a hundred years, this won't matter.
It barely matters now.
"

"...huh," said Rosa, after a moment of just staring and blinking and then tilting her head thoughtfully. "You know what? That's it. That's all there is. That's....pretty much perfect."

She felt...oddly impressed with this random pointless comic that had caused her so much aggrigation and irritation throughout the semester.

Then she turned to her students. "So?" she prompted. "Thoughts? Or do you just want to get out of here?"

Please just want to get out of here.

Today's final sex ed class was taking place outside of Anakin's home on the island, which was still shaped like a giant, pink, inflatable bouncy castle.

Anakin gestured at it, looking slightly frustrated. "Finish your exam and then you can jump on my house." There was a pause. "I can't believe I just said that as a sentence that makes sense."

"Congratulations, guys," Duke said when class was set to start. "We made it all the way through the semester without eating or getting eaten by any birds."

Sure, he may have turned into one for a day or so, but that wasn't besides the point.

"Anyway. I hope you all brought your own bird, because you're making the hat of your choice for it for your final project. I brought Polly." He gestured to a porg on the desk. "And I'm going to fold him a paper hat, because it turns out millinery is a pain in the ass. Now get to work and thanks for a not-terrible semester."

Class was once again meeting in the Danger Shop. Unsurprising, given the fact that the syllabus was largely based on practical exercises. Surely the final exam would involve more of the same?

Nope.

The Danger Shop was set up to look exactly like an ordinary, unremarkable classroom, full of ordinary, unremarkable desks (save the extra-large desk to accommodate Sidon, obviously). On each ordinary, unremarkable desk was a single piece of ordinary, unremarkable paper.

"You've been a great class, and we've loved having the chance to teach you all a little bit about the cryptid world," Liam said cheerfully. "So now's your chance to show us what you've learned throughout the semester."

"Thank you all of you for your willingness to learn, your curiosity, and, most of all, not dying," Verity said, leaning against Liam with a slight grin. "Hopefully you'll join our next class, too."

It would not be a Danger Shop-based gym class, that was for damn sure. They'd learned their lesson on that one.
