"Yeah, sorry," Duke said, huddling in a puffy vest. "I tried fixing the thermostat, but considering where these guys are from, I didn't want to adjust it too much. It's easier for us to put jackets on than for them to lose whatever insulation they've got."

The room, after all, was full of penguins.

"Meet the emperor penguin," Duke said, patting one of the closest birds with a shivering hand. "Largest penguin species on earth. Hangs out in the coldest places on earth. Likes to huddle for warmth. We're making them sombreros, because someone thinks they're funny. And then we're all going to go find a blanket fort and do our own huddling for warmth, probably."

Seriously, it was really cold in here.

Welcome once more into the swamp simulation in the Danger Shop, kids! Liam and Verity were getting a lot of mileage out of that particular sim - probably because many cryptids flourished in places where humans didn't like to go. They were standing on a small patch of dry land, one of the very few that could be found and between them was an image of a winged, humanoid figure, roughly Verity's own height.

Which wasn't that tall to begin with, but details.
