Of course Aphra had taken the opportunity not to show up to class, and anyone who expected differently clearly hadn't taken one with her before.

Anyone who expected her to actually tell them class was cancelled was also woefully uninformed.

Technically speaking, class was totally, completely, and entirely cancelled that day, what with the whole disappearing people and never-appearing newbies and all, which Summer wasn't quite sure was only helping her with her class or only making her have to work harder because everything was pretty F'ed right now as it was. At least it would make her job easier with any of the new kids in her class, right?

Either way, despite class totally being cancelled, Summer was still there in the classroom, just in case anyone did show up and wanted to have a rap session about just how F'ed this situation was, because, hey, that's what she was there for. In the meantime, she'd just be sitting there in the classroom (because, hey, they wouldn't really be using it much, with the class being heavily Danger Shop oriented), cleaning her blaster while whistling along to the latest T. Swift album on her phone, because, call her cynical or call her jaded or just call her experienced, but she was pretty sure there was no way this ritual thing later in the day was going to work the way they were hoping it would, and she wanted to make sure she was good and prepared.

Sure, yeah, she hoped she was wrong, but there was a reason she was teaching this class and she hadn't been away for that long, you guys...

Teamwork and Leadership will begin formal classes next week. This week's task is to pitch in, sing, and think happy thoughts.

Really. That's the plan. Bring a Santa hat and come to the park.
