The books today seemed to be a bit subdued, almost like they knew what was going on outside. Lana reshelved a few, then found a few more that apparently also wanted to be reshelved, then a few more, and...

"You all just want to be picked up, don't you?" She sighed. "All right, then, come on."

Which was how she ended up stacking and reshelving half the books in the place. Well, the shelves themselves could probably use a good dusting anyway.
