"Hey, guys!" Summer greeted the class brightly, far too brightly for the evil she was about to unleash upon them, really, and that's why, in almost all of her alternate universe selves, she was the worst. "Hope the whole 'dropped into an amalgamation of various prehistoric possibilities' thing going on outside isn't throwing too many of you off; if it is, and you need to talk about it, though, I'm here, I get how it can be. But, for now, let's forget about all that because today, we're going to finally start cooking!

"Well," she amended, her smile far too viscious to be truly apologetic, "there's actually not a whole lot of cooking involved in this one. We'll start you out light. Today we're making Liver Sausage Pineapple."

Why, yes, those were the words that Summer meant to put togehter like that! And now she was displaying for you exactly what those words put together like that meant.

"Beautiful," she said, "isn't it? So, follow along with me through the recipe. Don't hesitate to ask any questions, unless your question is 'why are we making this?' Because that is a question that has no good answer, sorry not sorry.

"Let's get started!"

Class was once more outside of the school, out in the woods where the 'skills' being imparted on them could really be used.

"Okay, so today we're going to learn another valuable lesson," Tony said. "Starting a fire. Safely, please."

"Fire is important for cooking food, staying warm when you're stuck in the Alps in February, and apparently for warding off dinosaurs when they show up on this island because that made sense," Steve muttered.

He learned that fire could scare dinosaurs from cartoons and movies, kids. Don't trust that.

"And sometimes you won't have matches or lighter fluid on you," Tony added with a sigh. "Which happens here sometimes. It's a thing. So, we have some methods for you to try."

"Since you all seem mostly well-versed in wilderness lore--" were they hearing "better at this than two guys born and raised in New York?" because that's what Steve meant, "--pick one that you haven't tried before."

A roar came from the woods nearby. "--And we'll be on the lookout for predators."

"Well, I was going to start easy," Miguel said, "with liquid nitrogen and freezing things. And then there were dinosaurs. And other prehistoric creatures that absolutely do not belong with dinosaurs. So. Let's have fun with dinosaurs instead! Sort of."

He keyed his program into the Danger Shop and other consoles appeared, one for each student. "These start easy and go to complex. You can pick and choose which parts you want to put on your dinosaur - legs and wings and such - or you can get down into the DNA and build them from the ground up, whichever you prefer. Then we'll watch them walk or fly or swim, and either fight or get along. They'll actually be subject to scientific laws, as opposed to some of what's going on out there."

Honestly, Fandom, couldn't you at least keep to the rules of some science?

"Enjoy!"
