The class today was back at the beach, where a volleyball net had been set up. Guess what today waaaaas.

"Welcome to beach volleyball," Kitty greeted them, tossing a volleyball up in the air and catching it as she talked. "You're going to want to take your shoes off, probably, and we're going to need two teams.""

Once she'd divided them up, and gotten everyone onto opposite sides of the net, she went on to explain the rules. "I'm not sure how far we'll get with this, but the point is to have fun, right? So have fun."

"Today we're going to look at examples of how not to design an aircraft, at least if you value the life of the pilot in the slightest," Anakin said, passing out schematics and the putting the first airplane photo up on a holoprojection.

"Read through the information and we'll talk about any of these designs could be reconfigured to work or if they should just be forgotten about. The one that melts the pilot's face off seems like a particular terrible design flaw to me--"

Tip had her camera out at the library today, though there was nothing in particular she was inspired to take photos of. It had just been awhile, and J.Lo kept sending her weird, half-focussed photos with bits of his fingers in them to show off what he and her mom were doing back home. She made her way up and down the stacks with her camera held at ready, looking for some odd book behavior to capture, but for once the books and shelves were quiet.

"They're taunting me," she told Bill. Bill blew a bubble raspberry, then spelled out something complicated. "Yeah, I'm not a cartoon character? So I think I'm not going to do that."

Bill sulked. The box on a stick trap was a classic for a reason!

When class arrived today at the room they'd been directed to, they'd find a large TV and a DVD player, along with a note:

Unable to make it today. Please entertain yourself. Most of this is nothing like real.

If anyone hadn't seen the first Barry Plodder film yet, now was your chance.
