raspberryturk: (Up there omg)

Today's class was meeting in the danger shop this week, yes. Why? It was apparently a mystery at present, the room still set up in the default paneling, no sim to be seen. Reno was standing there with his arms crossed over his chest, looking about as smoothly pleased with himself as he ever did, whether he had a reason to be or not.

Yo, Rookies! )

Today the class was meeting in the Danger Shop, which had been converted into a sepia-toned back alley, complete with old timey trashcans and Authentic Back Alley Smell. You know. Like fish and... other things.

Sorry, kids.

"Today we're playing stickball," Steve said, holding up a broom handle.

"I suggested cricket," Tony said, keeping with the theme of weird rich people sports. "But this is a little easier if you already know baseball."

"Plus stickball isn't really stuck on how many people can be on a team," Steve said. "You can play with three if that's all you got. Rules are easy: Pitcher's mound is that line on the ground, home plate is this manhole cover, the walls are first and third. If you hit the tennis ball all the way out of the alley, it's a home run, but you have to go and fetch it."

Tony laughed and shook his head at that explanation. "It's pretty fast and loose, so let's just hop into the game." There was a slight pause like he was giving poor, poor Steve some hope before adding, "After this PSA on taking turns."

Steve sighed heavily. "Can't imagine how you unearthed that one."

Class was meeting in the Danger Shop, where Aphra had the movie theatre sim set up.

"Time for an educational holo!" And just because it was fictional doesn't mean it couldn't be educational. "One thing to consider is that if a place has a reputation for being cursed or haunted, there's usually a very good reason. It mightn't actually be cursed or haunted, but you aren't any less dead if you're killed by something mundane instead of supernatural. Actually, you're probably more dead, considering."

Just enjoy the eye-candy, kids.
