This week both teachers were there. Which did not, in any way, mean this would be more educational than any previous week.

"Today we've run out of ideas, so we're gonna help you all set up UberEats and GrubHub on your phones," Deadpool said. "Well, not so much help as let you do that. During class time."

"If you need help, we'll help you," Vanessa said. "But we'll also judge you. You're kids. Learn how to use an app."

"Unless you're not a kid. Then what the hell are you doing in this class? This is for kids, you pervert." Deadpool, no.

"I guess they might be like a thousand years old but a kid by the standards of their species," Vanessa allowed. "But then you're still a kid. Or you're a vampire who keeps going to high school over and over, which is sad and creepy and I probably agree with Wade in that case. Anyway, apps. Open your phone or phonelike device, search for the name of the app, go from there. Questions?"

"No?" Deadpool said, not giving any time for a question to be asked. "Great! Get your phone's out and install those apps!"

As the students came into the classroom, they would find tables again pushed against the wall, with a full spread of Surasang available for their dining pleasure, with large kettles of barley tea.  As much as Ghanima claims to be unable to cook, she is perfectly adept at it once properly motivated.  She's just too lazy to cook for herself.

"Today, boys and girls, we head east," she announced, sipping her tea.  "Given that the Olympics have just ended, I feel it appropriate that we spend some time reflecting on the stories behind the country, which made it what it is today."
Cut tag is cut! )

"On your desks, you have a handout about The Sun and The Moon.  Tell me, what sounds familiar?  What do you find intriguing about this myth?  Do you see any similarities between other stories we've studied so far?"

There was something hanging out in the edges of Tip's vision again this week. Only instead of just teasing her that way, whatever it was was also rearranging the stacks.

"Look," Tip said to the general room on her fifth time through the social sciences to put the books back in place. "I don't care if they're purely alphabetical or by the dewey decimal system, but you should probably pick some kind of order."

She heard the flutter of dry pages behind her and spun just in time to see a book dodge around the end of the stacks.

It was going to be a day.
