Class, junkyard, ship. Nothing was really different this week from any other, unless one counted that Kanan was slightly less hungover than usual. And while he was leading the students to the cockpit, he took a wider berth around the table in the common area than he normally did. He'd already knocked his elbows on the edges one too many times today.

"So the next planet out is called Saturn," Hera said. "It's got nicely developed rings, which can be a problem to navigate in some places, but planets with rings can also have wonderful skyscapes. Unfortunately, this is another one we won't be landing on."

Fortunately that means we might get to see some fancy piloting. )

After her conversation with Summer on Saturday, Tip was spending her library shift looking up various alien invasions of Earth. She kept finding a lot of information and theories about Roswell. Not a single one of them mentioned a ship manned by livestock crashing into a water tower — but that made sense, really. Since the Chief had only told her about it after she and J.Lo found the koobish in his junkyard.

There actually didn't seem to be much at all about the Boov in the library, at least not in English. Or Italian, she guessed, but she didn't actually read Italian very well. She asked Bill to take a look to see if there were any Boov texts anywhere, but he refused. Apparently going into the stacks alone made him nervous.

Well. That just meant that Tip would have to write something up herself.

Today the classroom had a little mock up of a drive thru window. Which might be giving away today's lesson, but no one said this would be a subtle class, okay?

"Welcome back," Tony said cheerfully. "Today we're moving onto the slightly more active version of getting food without cooking it yourself... the drive thru. Or walk thru on this island."

Seriously, the lack of cars continued to be weird.

"There are lots of different options," Steve said, "but they mostly seem to be based around hamburgers."

"And tacos," Tony added. "Chicken too. Um..."

Well, that sort of exhausted the options for the most part. "Oh, and coffee!"

Yeah, that being added in should surprise no one here.

"...there's drive-through coffee?" Steve replied. "Why?"

"It's for people who don't wake up at dawn to run marathons," Tony replied dryly. "We can do a field trip into the city to see one later."

"Sounds fun," Steve said. "Okay. For the rest of you. You have ten dollars to order lunch. Try not to make your order too complicated, okay?"

"And enjoy the free lunch. Breakfast? We'll call it brunch to be safe." Because who didn't want a greasy burger while in class?

Philomena walked into the classroom and hit the desk.

She blinked.

She stepped back.

She stepped forward, right into the desk.

She stepped back.

She stepped forward, right into the desk.

She stepped back.

She...

Look, this was going to go on for a while. Go outside, enjoy the sunshine or something. It was likely to be more educational.
