Library, Thursday (April 20)

Cosette hadn't really wanted to get out of bed today -- a rare occurrence for her, to be sure, but everyone was allowed to have an off day now and again, wasn't that so?

Given that she'd mainly wanted to stay in bed and read, though, it turned out to take little effort to convince herself to get dressed, find herself something to eat, and go to work. She did spend a good portion of her day poking about every nook and cranny of the library to make sure everything was back in order, but a good portion of it was also spent settled behind the desk with a small stack of biographical graphic novels.

Oh, and pastries. She'd brought pastries in, in case anyone wanted some, though if anyone did she'd be adamant about not touching the books with sticky or greasy fingers. It would probably be best to not test her disapproving expression in that regard.

Civics, 1st Period - Thursday 4/20

There was just the one teacher at the front of the class today and it wasn't the triangle shaped one. Sorry, Isabela.

"Captain Rogers couldn't be here for the last class, but I'm sure he wishes he could." Debatable. "It's our last day and look at that, you've survived a lesson in civics."

Though, really, it was more like a number of rants about it.

"In lieu of a final exam, I'm going to ask that you continue to be aware of the world, ours or yours, and be engaged in the political process."

Yeah, that was some 'Oh captain, my captain' bullshit right there.

"I brought coffee and donuts, so... enjoy."

Creative Cooking With a Focus on Pudding - Thursday, Period 3

The classroom was full to bursting. Every ingredient, every machine from the entire semester, was draped, crammed or set up somewhere. The soda dispensers glowed and bubbled, the scent of chocolate was in the air, and pancakes once again were raining from the ceiling.

Usually, this sort of mess would have Wonka bouncing off the walls, perhaps even literally. But he was perched on the teaching stool from the first day, smiling serenely.
