It was raining over the main desk when Khadgar came into the library.

The rain didn't seem to be doing anything to the desk itself or any of the things on it, but when he put his hand under the clouds, he got wet, so that was all the incentive needed for Khadgar to take his things and curl up in the animal care section for his shift instead. He kept an ear out for the library doors opening, but he mostly looked up the care and feeding of various pets, trying to decide if he wanted a companion while he was stuck here. Perhaps a cat would improve his mood?

It was definitely not in Eliot's handwriting. There was a distinct possibility it had been written by gremlins.

[got struck down by blergh last night and completely failed to find a video I liked for a movie day this morning. I'll be back in form next week I swear]
