Face was very much himself today, but having heard the radio, he'd set up a display from the 'Fandom Weirdness, It's Only Temporary' section.

That they had a section on that was less of a surprise than it should have been.

Lito began today's class by saying, "One thing we have not talked about yet in this class is the ethics of lying. It's a terrible thing, yes? To look someone in the face and lie to them. It is a violation of their trust. Someone is trusting you to tell them the truth, and you do not do it. You're breaking faith with them. And yet sometimes, it's...is it necessary? No, it's never necessary, but maybe you feel the consequences of lying are less than the consequences of telling the truth. Not morally, maybe, but for other reasons. Your safety, the safety of those you care about. To save your career or your social life, or to keep someone from being hurt, whether that is physically or emotionally, you make that decision to not tell the truth, because by lying, you are the only one who is hurt. So how do you decide when it is worth it?

"I cannot tell you what is the right answer here. I've said before, I am very good at lying, and that is because I have done a lot of it. Professionally, but," he shrugged, "also in my personal life. I felt like I had to. Maybe it was, or maybe I was lying to myself as well. That's the thing, sometimes you lie so much you forget how to tell the truth. You have to watch out for that, no?" He clapped his hands together and rubbed them briskly. "So. Let's talk about this. When is it worth it, to you, to lie to someone?"

They we're back in the Danger Shop lab today, and Kitty almost greeted the class with "welcome back." No, she was the one who'd been gone.

"The last couple weeks you guys got to work on your suits. And hopefully you actually showed up last week to do it or today is going to suck for you since today you'll be presenting them. You can make them do anything you need them to do, since it's the Danger Shop and no one can get hurt. So, who's first?"

"Last week was defense. You ran away from each other," Fred said this was probably an ominous start since the Shop looked like the deep woods, with trees and logs everywhere, a shack in the distance, a thin layer of snow on the ground, and wolf sounds in the air. "This week, we go the other direction. You're hunting each other like human game. You each get a paintball gun and 30 paint ball pellets. And each of you had a different color so we can do who's done what. You get two minutes to get distance or find some cover, and then it's time to paint the rest of my your classmates."

How was this 'practical?' Because come on, each and every one of you will end up in a Hunger Games like thing eventually. Don't lie to yourselves.
