"Welcome back," Ghanima said once the last person had arrived. "Jedi Veila is unable to be with us today, so I'm afraid you're all stuck with me."

"Given that you've all just come back from fall break, and most likely have the Homecoming Dance on your minds, we're going to take it easy this week," she continued. "You're going to learn how to go to the movies!"

A film is - or should be - more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what's behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later. -- Stanley Kubrick )

"Now, everyone go buy a ticket, purchase concessions if you're so inclined, then head into theater number three." Ghanima checked her own ticket. "We're seeing an anniversary showing of 'A Dozen Reasons I Loathe You."

"Last week, you were afforded a unique chance to see ethics in action," Obi-Wan said lightly, "Or perhaps the absence thereof, depending on your opinion of the park."

"Cloning and genetic manipulation have long histories in some cultures," Anakin added. "Adjusting food sources to be hardier, or to grow faster, or to be more nutritious in harsh conditions...that is considered to be a good use of science by many. I'm not sure where 'bring extinct species back for a theme park' falls."

"There could be some nobility in such pursuits," Obi-Wan said, "For example, to resurrect a species can be an act of life-giving, a way to give another being a second chance. But it also brings great dangers; one could consider it opening up a door that was better left sealed. You might also see it as an arrogant claim to divinity."

Anakin nodded. "Where is your personal line? Bringing back extinct plants are okay, but giant carnivores are not? Is it all right to clone people? Can you re-terraform a planet to make it better for your species? What if that will kill another species--say an insect, or a ugly, annoying rodent?" Yuuzhan Vong, he's thinking of you even if you are in the future and no longer movie-canon compliant.
