Cosette was finding it hard to concentrate today, for some reason. Nothing she could put her finger on, just that her mind kept wandering and she kept having to get up and ramble around the library for a few minutes until the impulse subsided.

Possibly this had something to do with the tiny whale she thought she kept spotting out of the corner of her eye, just hovering in the stacks at about shoulder height. But since she only thought she could see it, and couldn't prove it was really there, she'd only explain that she felt restless, should anyone ask.

[OOC: No OCD today. No idea, either. Open, though.]

They were standing outside a very large house. As soon as the students saw the inside of it, it would immediately become familiar: Atton had used the foyer of this simulation for the earlier class on sightlines.

"Just because it's summer class doesn't mean you won't have a final," said Atton, because he liked being an asshole from time to time. (He was also sitting on a fence for no reason at all, really.) "On the second floor of this building sits a safe. It's a number safe, so you're either going to have to crack it, or find the combination, which is hidden somewhere in the building. To finish this class, you need to get into that safe and bring its contents to me. There's free pizza in it if you can track down the artifact on the top floor and bring it, too."

He clapped his hands. "That's it," he said, "Get going."

Bob eyed the students more than a little dubiously as they filed into the Danger Shop. When they were all there, he grimaced. "Well. Not nearly as much time as I would've liked, but still."

He pointed at the table, where a number of scrolls were laid out. "Spells. Simple, small ones." He indicated each one in turn. "To create a small flame, to make your hands glow, to create a breeze, to sour wine, to grow a seed. If you do them correctly. They're also specifically designed so that even if you don't do them correctly, they won't be harmful, although you may be minorly inconvenienced." Dear god, he hoped.

"So." He waved them at the table with a look that said he was probably going to regret this. "Pick one. Ask any questions you like, do any research you like. I'll answer anything except how to actually say the words. Then read it. And do remember, it's in your own best interests to get it right."

Please don't make him call Harry to undo anything.
