"This week, we're going to be discussing Tokyo," Bruce said.

And then he did that, focusing on the post-war period and the reconstruction and redefinition of what the city was. It was a very informative lecture with all kinds of additional insights you would expect from someone who had both studied it and was familiar with the city from first-hand experience.

"We'll have a trip there next week," Bruce noted before class ended.

Business Sense 101 [Friday]

Today's class was in a regular ole run of the mill classroom. There was a television at the front of the room so maybe that would herald what was going to be happening.

"I don't do these too often but today, you're gonna watch a movie!" He got the television started so the students could watch the movie of the day.

"Enjoy!"

Student Council [Friday, Lunchtime]

Today, it seemed, was a hot soup and sandwich day as everything was set out for the Student Council meeting. There were a variety of soups and sandwiches on the table, along with drinks and cookies because, well, healthy soup balanced out cookies, right? Right.

"Good afternoon, and thank you all for coming. I hope you've managed to readjust to non-cruise life without too much trouble," Zoe said with a smile. "We've had a busy start to the year, so you should all pat yourselves on the back for a job very well done. We have a few quiet weeks ahead of us, so we can relax, or plan something new. Does anyone have any ideas?"
