It hadn't taken Elsa long at all to get her bearings this morning, and, while it had been strange not waking up to Anna jumping on her bed at the first rays of dawn, and stranger still not having a servant to help her get dressed, she'd managed to get herself more or less ready to face the day all on her own, and had set out to do some exploring!

So, she was only marginally late when she finally found her way to the library, and she gasped in glee at the sight of all of the books that were there. Sure, she couldn't read a good many of them yet, since she was still at a child's reading level in her own language, never mind English, but there were short books full of easy words and bright pictures, and she was going to give it her best attempt.

... For a while, anyway. And then she was going to just look at the pictures instead.
