Elsa didn't quite know what to do with the situation she was faced with today. A few of the books appeared to have come down with bellyaches, and were rolling around (an interesting maneuver for a bunch of objects shaped like boxes) on the floor below their bookshelves, refusing to be put back where they belonged.

She suspected that it had something to do with all of the candy that was about yesterday. But for the life of her, she didn't know how the books had eaten it, or how to help them feel better.

She settled for a compromise - letting them wait out the rest of their suffering on the book cart, where they wouldn't accidentally get themselves stepped on by library patrons. She figured that was probably going to be the best she could manage.
