Today's class was taking place once more at the Danger Shop driving course, where a number of very fast looking cars waited for the students.

"Good morning," Bond greeted them. "We've come to our final class together, but since we haven't put in anywhere near an ideal number of hours behind the wheel for you to take a proper driving test, instead you're going to have a little test of skill unrelated to driving."

He nodded towards the cars. "Sadly I've misplaced the keys to those cars, so I'm afraid you're going to have to find other means of starting them before you can spend the rest of the class driving them. There are tools and instruction by the entrance, and if any of you should have any experience in this area, feel to help your classmates."

"Though, naturally, it should go without saying that you shouldn't exercise this skill outside of this class."

"Welcome back for your last week," Jack greeted the students once they were seated in the classroom. "Look, it's probably the last class on the last day of the session for most of you, and it's my last class before I leave the island, so I'm not gonna give you some huge speech or assignment that nobody would give a crap about. Let's just talk instead. What do you think you learned about teamwork? What do you still want to work on? Answer me, and you can head on out."

Her eyes totally weren't a little moist at the last-class shit. No. Not at all.

Class was at the Community Center today, only it wasn't JUST class. It was the Fandom High Gala Brunch and all were invited! attendance was mandatory for the people in Bruce's workshop, of course, but people from around town and NPC wealthy donors from the mainland were invited as well.

"Welcome to our last workshop of the semesster," Bruce said. After being dressed down regularly for this workshop, he was once again in one of his nicer suits. "And more importantly, welcome to our charity brunch gala benefitting Fandom High. All proceeds from this event will go towards funding Fandom High's activities, including but not limited to trips, magical safety protocols, and textbooks for the more traditional elements of your education."

"You have three goals today. First, mingle and make sure the donors in attendance understand how valuable the Fandom High experience is so that they know to make a healthy donation," Bruce explained. "Second, have some brunch. Third, enjoy yourselves."

Today when the students filed into the….classroom, they were presented with a couple of handouts.

"Hi," Cheryl said, almost nicely. "Welcome to the last time I have to look at your stupid faces."

Well, that cleared that up.

“We hope you’ve enjoyed getting to see just a small fraction of some of the amazing careers out there that you guys might be suited to,” Pam enthused. Well, Pam hoped so, anyway. “Today we’re gonna revisit our first class. Remember how, back then, we talked about what you want to be when you grow up? We’re gonna do that again.”

"Except this time, we've given you some reasonable goals, just in case the last six weeks haven't done it," Cheryl added, vaguely passing out the papers. Some may have ended up on the floor, shh. "Because remember, boys and girls, there's no fucking way there's an astronaut in this classroom. What college is going to take this place as your alma mater?"

Weirdly enough, Cheryl, lots of places. It was super-strange.

“Hate to break it to you, but this school is not exactly a rigorous bastion of academia,” Pam sighed. “I’m not even sure it’s accredited. I mean, think about it. They let us teach here.”

Look, Pam and Cheryl were at least self-aware enough to know that they were horribly inappropriate and should never be allowed to influence young minds, like, ever.

"Because Pam got in trouble for shooting someone."

Sort of. But still, Cheryl knew that was a black mark.

"So get familiar with those lists. Tell us what you wanna be when you grow up, now that you have a better idea of what that really is going to entail."

Humiliate yourself and pick out a degrading future, so that you could pass class! Have fun!!!

Cara had told her students to met her at the Onsen today, where she was already relaxing in the water as she waited for them. When the last student had arrived and gotten changed into more appropriate gear (which the attendants providing swimsuits for anyone who hadn't realised that class being held there meant they should bring theirs), she stood to address them.

Luckily for them, she was wearing slightly more than she usually did when she visited outside of class hours.

Bath time is the most heroic time. )
