genesisheroEvan was a little baffled, today, when he came into the library for his shift and the returns desk had been heaped high with books about towels and books about lilacs. And, try though he might, he really couldn't figure out why the library had so many books about either, or why all of them had apparently been checked out and then returned this morning.
The Secret Lives of Towels? 10,000,001 Uses For Lilacs?
There was nothing for it, he supposed, but to just put them back on the shelves. And, once he got to the bottom of the pile only to find a neatly folded towel with a lilac embroidered on it, shrug and sling it over his shoulders. Maybe he'd be able to figure out who owned it, later.
