"Welcome to Ink & Holes." Yup, another e-mail went out that the class was meeting somewhere outside of the school grounds. "Everybody got those ID's we... ahem? Cool. Look around at the flash. Talk to the tattoo artists. I want you to walk out of here with at least some mehndi, henna or stick-on. Let's see some self-expression here. Or, if you want to pierce yourself, that's cool too." She looked around for Cecil and pointed to him. "Dude, they have animated tattoos!"

Okay, not quite the eldritch kind he was hoping for, but still.

"Look around, knock yourself out, we're getting ice cream afters."

Today, there was no Danger Shop full of microwaves, but rather the regular cooking classroom, with a hot plate for everyone. Congratulations, class, for graduating beyond pressing buttons.

At every table were a (moddable) selection of sliced breads and cheeses, a plate with a stick of butter, a spatula, and a butter knife. Can you guess what's on the agenda today?

"The 'grilled cheese' is a popular simple meal here in the United States," Thor began, once everyone had settled in. "Today, that is what we are going to learn how to make. In front of you you have something called a 'hot plate'. If you are unfamiliar, it is a miniature version of the stove-top that you can find in the common room kitchens. You will begin by turning the dial to activate it, placing it on a medium level of heat," he paused, demonstrating the process and giving everyone enough time to find the dial on their own hot plates. "Next, select your choice of bread, take the butter knife, and coat one side each of two slices in the butter. Now you will take your choice of cheese and place that between the two slices, keeping the buttered sides out. Your hot plate should be warm enough now, so take the spatula," he held up the cooking utensil, just in case anyone needed to know what he was referring to, "and slide your sandwich on to the cooking surface. It will not take long for the bread to cook, so watch carefully. Once the surface of the bread has been browned to the level you desire, use the spatula to flip it over and repeat the process for the other side. Once you are completed, both sides should be toasted and the cheese should be thoroughly melted," using the spatula, he picked up the sandwich he'd just finished making and held it up for a moment before taking it in both hands and taking a large bite. "Now, it is your turn!"

At the front of the classroom there were also a selection of sliced vegetables, meats, and other things one might add to a grilled cheese sandwich. "If you wish to try something a little more complicated after you have created the basic sandwich, I have several other recipes available," he gestured to a stack of sheets, "or you may simply pick some ingredients to add to your sandwich for your own creation."

Anakin was in a black, black mood today, students, so...sorry about that.

"You're going to Tatooine today," he began without preamble. "I'm going to wait here because there aren't enough credits in the multiverse to make me step back on that desolate rock masquerading as a planet again."

Sounds like a great place for a class, doesn't it?

"Tatooine is hot as hell and half as inviting," he continued. "There are two suns blazing overhead and so if you don't wear the ponchos I've provided you have no one but yourself to blame when you come back with a raging sunburn."

He pointed to the portal. "Now go away."

When the class entered the Danger Shop they would have noticed the driving range from the past two weeks was gone, and instead they were in what looked more like a classroom with computer terminals set up along the walls. As each student arrived, Bond handed them a booklet.

"Good morning," he greeted them cheerfully. "Now last week, you got a taste of why many places have road rules, this week you'll start learning them." Unless of course, anyone had the initiative and started looking them up online between classes. In which case, Bond approved.

"Now, I've just given you a copy of the Maryland driver's manual, which you may keep, as it has the rules most applicable to here and now, but you should keep in mind that different countries, states, or time, have different rules." Like driving on the proper side of the road. "So you should also make sure to learn those suitable to where and when you're from."

"Today we'll be spending the first half of the class studying the manual, and you can also take an online tutorial of the knowledge test you'd need to pass to apply for an actual learner permit. Once you've passed that tutorial you can spend the second half of the class redoing last week's driving exercise, only attempting to follow the road rules this time."
