The Danger Shop looked an awful lot like a movie theater today. It also looked like Batman wasn't here.

But right after class was supposed to begin - and hopefully after everyone had a seat - the movie screen lit up with a message from the Batman.

"I apologize for not making it to class today. You've already missed out on several weeks of instruction due to the insanity in Fandom. But I had to return to Gotham City to make sure that Fandom's issues didn't cause any problems there. This is your lesson for today; the people you protect come first. Always. Even if it means you actually have to resort to..." Batman didn't sigh. It was implied, but he did not actually sigh. "... a movie day. Be prepared for an especially difficult lesson next week."

As his image disappeared, a loud "CHUNG CHUNG" could be heard.

Guess who was getting Law & Order reruns, everyone!

Class was meeting in the Danger Shop today, which had been programmed to look like a large field with nets on each end and cryptic lines demarking different positions.

"Nice job keeping yourselves alive last week," Jack said, which to her was high praise. "And now ... back to gym class. We're playing field hockey this week."

She tugged on her ponytail. "Look, field hockey isn't actually a thing where I grew up, but some chicks were playing it on this dumb show I watched yesterday and it looked pretty intense. Anyhow, I'm not totally up on all the rules but I know you need to get the ball into the net with the sticks. I'll play goalie and we can learn together." Smoothing her short plaid skirt, she added, "Also, we are wearing kilts. So suit the frack up and let's play."

Riley and his glasses were back in class today, still feeling a little rattled after the recent events. But, he figured that was going to be a common thing.

"Hey guys," he said, nodding. "Nothing too strenuous today. We're still gonna play video games because I figured it might be a good stress reliever but it's nothing violent or difficult. Today, we're going to play Tetris. Tetris is a tile matching game where the aim is to create horizontal line of ten blocks without gaps. When you create the line, it disappears. As you level up, the tiles fall faster and the game gets harder. Let's see how well we can do, okay?"

With that, Riley ended the lecture and got the students started on Tetris.
