Flavors, Food Choices, and Menu Planning - Friday, 4th period

When the students got to class today, they would find a rather annoyed Hannibal and a lush living room setup instead of a kitchen.

"Today was to have been our lesson in salty foods," Hannibal noted. "However, when I attempted to cook, my knives were missing. When I attempted to make do, my best pans had joined them. And when I decided to buy new ones, my wallet was gone. They all showed up half an hour ago where they were supposed to be, however with insufficient time to prepare the food for the lecture."

Hannibal suspected the island. Hannibal did not misplace things. "I'm told a movie day is traditional in such cases. The lesson will be next week, should the island cooperate." It had better. "So, today we will have one salty food." He waved at the bowls of homemade gourmet popcorn seasoned with herbs and went to take one of the plush armchairs. "This movie has some excellent scenes of food. I hope you enjoy it."

Also copious violence and nudity and no rating. Sorry, class; Hannibal was in a mood.

The cannibalism was just a fun bonus.

Coping With Change, Friday, Period 3

Jonothon came into class today looking cranky, but… loud. There was no way in hell he was coming into his classroom the same way he'd gone down to work his Groovy Tunes shift yesterday, with his flames in plain sight, so he'd done the only thing he could do under the circumstances, and he'd destroyed a shirt in order to replace the wrappings that had gone missing. And then, because shredded shirts weren't made to go all the way down, he'd thrown a t-shirt on overtop, as well.

So today, Jono was attempting and failing to look casual with the remains of a Hawaiian shirt over his face, and a bright red Pearl Jam t-shirt on over that.
