The Danger Shop didn't have any dinosaurs in it, today. At least, none that Pinkie had programmed. You could never absolutely guarantee that none would just happen to show up.

Instead, it was set up like a large movie theater, complete with a refreshment stand selling over-priced, over-sized sodas and stale popcorn coated with artifically butter flavored soybean oil. Pinkie stood at the front, wearing a classic red usher's jacket and cap that clashed terribly with her pink coat and hair.

"Welcome, everypony! I know a movie isn't quite an adventure, but Earth has so much history to cover and I'll never ever ever get through it all all by myself! And I'd love to do more Equestrian history, but Twilight hasn't emailed me back about Starswirl the Bearded, yet." One of these days, she'd remember that Twilight didn't have email. "So we're going to watch a couple of other humans do some exploring through history and then you guys can suggest some adventures for our final history adventure extravaganza!"

She signaled to someone in the back with one hoof, and the lights dimmed. Anyone who looked back might catch a glimpse of a strangely familiar pink pony wearing a red cap manning the projector.

Then the movie started.

Pinkie couldn't vouch for its accuracy at all, but she could definitely get behind the message. "Be excellent to each other" was a perfect friendship lesson!

After, once again, being handwavily informed to meet up in the Danger Shop, students were greeted by what appeared to be a themed restaurant. The sort of place that had the noisiest games and terrible prizes that weren't actually worth anything.

God help you all.

"It's that time, kids. It's time to see what happens when you put a dozen little rugrats in a room with soda and cake and a ballpit. Here's a hint: nothing nice," Deadpool informed the class. "It's all fun and games for the kids, but you're the one running around to make sure no one throws up in the the Whack-a-Mole machine and leaves you paying for the clean up."

Anakin (and Juliet, in a sparkly tiara because SOMEONE had turned three a few days ago) stood a bit in the back as Anakin tried really hard not wonder what was making his boots stick to the floor. He stepped forward, making a face. "The irritating theme animal will be out in thirty minutes, and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Believe me, I've begged."

Deadpool shuddered at the thought. "We've programmed a dozen kids for this party. One of 'em is lactose intolerant and ate a bunch of cheese pizza of dubious quality. Which one is it? That's the game."

Anakin smiled an evil smile. "The rest of them are high on sugar and almost out of tokens. Have fun."

There was no chance at all they would have fun.

Having handwavily sent out notes, e-mail, etc. to the class members, Kenzi was at the pond early with notebooks for everyone, and disposable cameras. "Trick's... somewhere. Or hungover. Or both. So! I'm taking over. Everybody, grab some notebooks, some cameras, or your camera phones, spread out, wander around the island. You're looking for fae animals, and trying to classify them."

"Or, you know, you're trying to take photos of anything else interesting and make it sound like classwork. Go to it!"
