Dean looked... more or less resigned to the stupid uniform that he had to wear today. But only because he wasn't the only one in the room wearing one such uniform, and because he was drinking coffee without fear of sprouting wings (Monday had been an exercise in not freaking out for Dean, yes), and because, lucky him, he had a class that seemed more or less normal right from the get-go. Well, unless you counted the fact that he'd had to walk to work with a crowbar this afternoon so that he didn't get eaten by bunnies, but that was completely different.

"So, this is our final week together," Dean shared, leaning back against his desk and shooting a lopsided little smile at his class. "Which means two things. First, your sculpture assignments should be finished, and second... final exam."

Because that was just how Dean McCoppin rolled. And also because the School Board was making him. But mostly the first one, if anyone asked.

"You'll find everything you need on your desks. You have the rest of the period to finish your tests, and then when you're finished... I don't know. Glue macaroni to the outside of some tin cans or something. This is the last hour of school before the summer, period. Get messy."

If they happened to ruin their uniforms in the process, then all the better, right?

Yeah. Just 'Leadership.' Nice and simple.

"Welcome to very nearly the last class period of the school year," Scott said. He looked extremely comfortable in his uniform. This may have had something to do with the fact that his previous uniform was a skin-tight leather bodysuit, so this was really a step up comfort-wise. "One final, important part of leadership that we haven't talked about much this semester is the ability to inspire others through not just your actions, but your words."

"What I'd like each of you to do is come up to the front of the room and just spend a couple minutes giving your classmates some inspiration to help them get through their own speeches. Because this week, you're all part of one team and have one goal: be a beacon for everyone who comes after you."

"I know this isn't something you've practiced for this class, but I have complete faith in all of you. Each of you has shown me and everyone else in this room a lot this semester. We're almost through it. Good luck finishing strong, but I don't think you'll need it."

[OOC: Work is going to make me cry today, and then I'll be at a lecture tonight. So if you need to talk to Scott about anything, I'll be extremely slow.]

When the students arrived, they found their teachers standing at the front of the classroom looking, well, like people out of uniform.

Annja was dressed as the Greek Goddess of the Hunt, Artemis, complete with knee-length toga, a quiver of arrows on her back and a bow in her hand. Arya was dressed as the Greek Goddess of Wisdom, Athena. She was also wearing a toga and was holding a spear. There was an owl sitting on the desk next to her.

There wasn't a shred of polyester in sight.

"Welcome to your final for Mythology 101." Annja said calmly after everyone -- and possibly visitors, too -- had arrived.

"As we have discussed in previous weeks --" Or you know, via text messages last night. "--your final assignment was to dress as your favorite mythological character and do a three minute presentation on your choice and why." Arya smiled at the students.

"If there is anything you need to finish your costumes, please let us know," Annja said. "We'll be happy to help you get everything perfect for the presentation that you have been working so hard on all semester."

And get you all out of that horrible plaid.

Library [4/20]

When Wesley arrived at the library, as usual, it was difficult to balance his coffee cup and the keys in his lap while holding the door open with one hand and wheeling himself forward with the other. It was a precarious operation that relied on focus, concentration, determination, and --

-- not being startled by upwards of a hundred tiny blue creatures jumping up from behind the desk the moment he wheeled himself into the office.

So yeah, that would be coffee aaaall over his lap and the chair now, and if you heard a stream of muttered curses from the library, that was why.

This ... was going to be the last meeting of Apathy club that George ever went to. And so, instead of doing something special, she was going to show up late, and hover in the doorway, and try not to admit that she was upset. That she felt like she was losing something precious to herself.

This was the way Apathy Club ended; not with a bang, but a whimper.

It didn't suck. That was what she would say, if asked about it. High praise, to any who spoke the language.

Oz had made sure his class all knew to meet him down in the shop room, where a large amount of tools and lumber, as well as three sets of blueprints, awaited them.

"Good morning class, and welcome to your shop final," Oz greeted them, cheerfully. Somehow his tie had gotten lost, fancy that. "Now if you remember last week's class, I told you how you'd be working in groups for your final, working of subsections of a larger project, you know that modern art installation? So that you could get an idea of how large scale projects happen in the real world. So put on your safety gear, and hopefully we'll be able to put everything together by the end of class."
