Hercules had constructed a very special surprise for the class today. As they gathered in a normal classroom, they would find all sorts of art supplies on tables awaiting them.

The next labor... arts and crafts )

[ooc: Plz wait for OCD! Class is up and in session!]

The meeting room had been set up once again for the Student Council, with pizza, soda, and some chocolate fudge that Zoe had procured from J,GOB because November seemed like a good time for chocolate.

"Well, we've survived the big fall events, and you all did exceptionally well," Zoe said, giving them all a pleased smile. "We've got some empty time ahead of us, so if any of you have ideas for things you'd like the council to try to do, now is the time to share them."

The class had been oh so handwavily informed to meet up in the Danger Shop in order to work off all that repressed (or not so repressed) rage. Or maybe the sugar highs folks were still riding after Halloween.

With foam cricket bats, it seemed. Because that shit was classy. And British.

"Short and simple assignment today, my little minions in the making," Deadpool said, twirling a bat the whole time he spoke. Because it was fun. Deal with it. "Call it a game of hide and seek. Only you smack the person when you find 'm. So, hide and assault with a foam weapon. Rolls right off the tongue. Amiright?"

No. No, he was not.

"And, to make things interesting in a manner that us in no way topical for people writing this--" Figure that one out. "--we're gonna have a strange, new environment for you kids to play in."

The Danger Shop went from its base state to a mysterious... cubicle farm.

"Have fuuuun."

Library [11/04]

Today in the library, Wesley was trying to continue his research on, er, the sorts of things he and Katniss had recently... planned to start doing. At least, that was his intention. However, in practice, the library seemed resistant.

Every book he took off the shelves had a perfectly normal cover, with a title that would suggest a general guide to this sort of thing. But once he opened them, they were all suddenly about the reproductive patterns of some rather alarming breeds of demons. With all due respect to Merl and Clem, this was really something he'd rather not know about.

And yet.

It was a cruel, cruel library.

Okay, George didn't expect it to be this hard to really get into the spirit of Apathy Club. But she had actually worn a costume for Halloween, and it didn't suck. Like, it had been fun (shut up). Oh and she had a date tonight. So those were all good things and, uh. Yeah. So.

The next best thing to apathy was being a cooler-than-it-all pretentious douchebag, so she was going to try that.

"Your favorite band sucks," she announced, to anyone / no one / the room in general.

Good thing Jono wasn't here, or she wouldn't be able to get away with that. Pearl Jam totally didn't suck.

Maybe there would be a flame war or something, or someone would get cranky and storm off. That might be fun. Or maybe everyone would be all "meh, who cares." Which would, of course, be in the spirit of Apathy Club, which made it a total win/win.
